Ang kalahating tasang kanin 23 g ng carbohydrates at 100 calories. Ang isang pisngi ng mangga ay 40 calories at may laman na 10 g ng carbohydrates. Ano ang katumbas sa kanin kung kumain ng tatlong slice ng mangga?

Sa pinggang Pinoy, nasa labas ng plato ang prutas. Kaya puwede namang sabay ang kanin at prutas. Panghimagas ang prutas.
