University of the Philippines Manila is an official and proud partner of the Manila Doctors Hospital (MDH), College of Medicine (UPCM) for the Faculty Geographic Practice Program, a first program of its kind for both institutions.
Under the newly signed Memorandum of Agreement last October 7, MDH will be the geographic partner of UPCM doctors and faculty for their medical practice. The program complements each institution's strengths and opportunity to collaborate towards better patient outcomes.

On the Role of Immunization in Bolstering Primary Care
Vaccination has saved millions of lives from deadly outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases.
With that, we believe that vaccination can be an entry-point for other essential services. This integration can be a catalyst for the primary health care agenda.
To achieve this, we must empower our health workers, engage with communities to ensure efficient and equitable delivery of services, and prioritize investments in immunization.
For a very long time, vaccination has been proven safe and effective and are means that not only protect children and their communities but also allow them to thrive and lead happy, productive lives.

In a significant step towards improving healthcare access, the Department of Health-Center for Health Development (DOH-CHD) SOCCSKSARGEN, led by Regional Director Aristides Concepcion Tan and Health Facilities Enhancement Program Manager Engr. Rey Santella, officially opened the doors of the new Super Health Center in Barangay Apopong, General Santos City. This milestone aligns with the 8-point action agenda, "Bawat Pilipino, Ramdam ang Kalusugan," aiming to ensure Filipinos have tangible access to quality healthcare.
The Super Health Center, costing PhP10 million, is equipped with PhP2 million worth of essential medical equipment. This vital polyclinic aims to decongest hospitals and provide the Apopong community, along with surrounding areas, with accessible basic health services. Beyond basic healthcare, the Super Health Center has plans to offer additional services in the future, including radiology, further enhancing its capabilities to serve the community. This expansion aligns with the government's commitment to improve healthcare accessibility and ensure the well-being of Filipinos across the country and is spearheaded by Senator B**g Go’s commitment to improve the nation’s health service delivery.
Also in attendance were Dr. Lalaine Calonzo, Acting City Health Officer of General Santos City, Dr. Jose Guerrero III, Rural Health Physician in Brgy. Apopong, Congressman Hon.
