UST Red Cross Youth Council-Arts and Letters Unit This is the official page of UST Red Cross Youth Council - Arts and Letters Unit. And it starts with YOU--YOUth

UST RED CROSS YOUTH COUNCIL - Arts and Letters Unit is a college-based branch of Red Cross Youth, one of the services offered by Philippine Red Cross, chaired by Dick Gordon. It educates youth from 7-25 years old and provides opportunities for directing and harnessing their energy and idealism into worthwhile activities within the framework of the organization. It lives by its 7 principles: Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity and Universality. The organization alleviates human suffering by providing related services such as Blood Services, Disaster Management Training, Community Development, Social Services, Leadership Development Program, Basic and Standard First-aid training and the like. UST RCYC-AB Unit is a manifestation that such activities is not exclusive for a specific profession, social class, political affiliation and what have you, because everyone can serve humanity by being a volunteer.

On December 4, 2024, the Red Cross Youth Council - AB Unit took on an epic quest at the Basic First Aid Training held in BGPOP Building, George S.K. TY Function Hall, Room 4B. From bandaging wounds to conquering life-saving techniques, participants unlocked new skills to tackle real-world emergencies. Every challenge completed brought them closer to becoming everyday heroesโ€”because in this game, survival means saving lives! ๐Ÿงญ๐Ÿฉน๐Ÿ’ช
