A retrospective study conducted in Metro Manila from 2017 to 2019 found that among transgender individuals undergoing gender-affirming hormone therapy (GAHT), 93% reported ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ณ-๐บ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด, and nearly 3 in 4 transgender adults ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ด๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ-๐ฎ๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฟ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐๐ฟ๐ด๐ฒ๐ฟ๐.
These numbers reflect a reality weโre hoping to understand better through our research.
