HEALTH REMINDER: BE AWARE OF LEPTOSPIROSIS

With continuous rains and flooding in many areas, the risk of Leptospirosis increases. This bacterial infection is commonly transmitted through floodwater contaminated with animal urine, especially from rats.

Watch out for symptoms:
✅ Fever
✅ Muscle pain (especially in the calves and lower back)
✅ Red eyes
✅ Headache
✅ Vomiting or diarrhea

Seek medical attention immediately if symptoms occur, especially if you've had contact with floodwater.

Avoid wading in floodwaters if unnecessary.
Wear protective boots if exposure is unavoidable.
Always wash your feet and legs thoroughly with clean water and soap.

Prevention is better than cure. Stay dry, stay safe, and stay healthy! 💙
