𝑷𝒂𝒔𝒌𝒐 𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒂𝒈-𝒂𝒔𝒂: 𝑨 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒎𝒂𝒔 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒐𝒍 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂 𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆, comes to a close not just as an event, but as a meaningful reminder of what compassion can truly accomplish. When this initiative began, our intention was simple to bring comfort, joy, and hope to the pediatric patients of San Lazaro Hospital who would be spending the Christmas season within hospital walls. We hoped to offer them small gifts, warm smiles, and reassurance that they were not forgotten.
Through the overwhelming support and generosity of many kind hearts, this simple vision grew beyond what we ever imagined. What started as an effort for children became an opportunity to reach a greater number of patients, allowing us to share not only material gifts, but also moments of care, presence, and genuine human connection.
Each smile shared, each quiet “thank you,” and each moment of joy reminded us that healing is not only found in medicine, but also in kindness, empathy, and shared hope. In these moments, we were reminded why service and compassion remain at the heart of healthcare.
This journey reflects the true essence of Christmas—pagkakaisa, malasakit, at pagbibigayan. It showed us that when people come together with sincere intentions, even the simplest acts can leave lasting impact.
From the Medical Technology Interns of San Lazaro Hospital, we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who supported, trusted, and became part of Pasko ng Pag-asa. This initiative was made possible because of you, and its impact will remain in the lives and hearts of many long after the season has passed.
