What are flat warts or verruca plana in medical term?
Flat warts are very common skin condition, characterized by brownish or flesh-colored raised bumps on your skin. They are caused by certain types of HPV viruses.
Flat warts don’t usually require treatment. They’ll usually go away on their own, but it may take several months or even years. And they sometimes become itchy and bothersome.
If treatment is desired, one cost-effective treatment is Electrocautery. Laser is not needed and is more expensive.
ECT or electrocautery involves burning of each wart with an electric needle where current is transmitted.
