Lets talk about Hair Loss and its treatment 🧐

Effective treatment for hair loss begins with finding the cause. To get an accurate diagnosis, it helps to see a board-certified dermatologist. These doctors have in-depth knowledge about the many causes of hair loss and experience treating the diverse causes.

When do dermatologists recommend treatment for hair loss?
While your hair may regrow on its own, your dermatologist may recommend treatment to help it grow more quickly. Sometimes, treatment is essential to prevent further hair loss.

What is the outcome for someone who has hair loss?
With an accurate diagnosis, many people who have hair loss can see hair regrowth. If you need treatment for regrowth, the earlier you start, the more likely you are to see regrowth.

It’s important to understand that:

Not every type of hair loss can be treated, but a dermatologist may be able to prevent further hair loss.

It can take months before you see results from treatment.

No one treatment works for everyone, even two people with the same type of hair loss.

Sometimes, hair loss is stubborn and requires trying different treatments before finding one that works.

Whaat is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a scientifically proven treatment that delivers real results. By creating controlled micro-injuries on the skin's surface, microneedling triggers the body's natural healing response.

During this process, collagen and elastin production is stimulated, resulting in healthier and rejuvenated skin.
Fine lines and wrinkles soften and fade, problematic skin conditions are resolved, and dullness and uneven skin texture like acne scars are addressed.

If you're tired of wasting money on ineffective solutions, microneedling will be a game-changer for you.

Worrying about acne scars and redness?
Our Pico Laser treatment can help address those scars!
Pico laser treatment can be effective in reducing the appearance of post-inflammatory erythema (PIE), which are red or pink marks left behind after acne lesions heal. Studies show that picosecond lasers, can significantly improve the appearance of PIE with minimal side effects.

Clinical trials demonstrate that picosecond lasers can reduce the redness associated with PIE and improve overall skin appearance.

How does Pico Laser work for PIE?
Pico lasers, target the red pigment (hemoglobin) in the blood vessels responsible for PIE. The laser's short pulse duration and high peak power can effectively break down these vessels, reducing the redness.

Number of sessions:
Typically, multiple treatment sessions are needed to achieve optimal results, with some studies showing significant improvement after four sessions.

Procedure:
The treatment involves using the picosecond laser to deliver targeted energy to the affected areas.

Results:
Patients can expect a reduction in redness, and improvement in overall skin tone and texture.

Side Effects:
Pico laser treatment is generally well-tolerated, with mild side effects like temporary redness which subsides in several minutes or an hour.

Recovery:
The recovery period is usually short, with patients able to resume normal activities shortly after treatment.

Have You Heard of Exosome Skin Treatment?

Exosomes are one of the latest trending topics in aesthetic medicine, but most patients aren’t familiar with exosomes and their benefits.

Exosomes are tiny but powerful particles (about 30-200 nanometers wide) used for skin and hair rejuvenation. Exosomes are naturally found and released by various cells in the body. These small particles help cells talk to each other by carrying proteins, fats, and genetic material which allows them to play a big role in many body processes, like the immune system and healing tissues.

For aesthetic purposes, they play a vital role in improving skin health by using their unique communication to signal surrounding cells to boost, repair and rejuvenate the skin. This leads to healthier and more youthful skin!

Exosomes can be infused into the skin through MICRONEEDLING. This is a cosmetic treatment that rejuvenates the skin and reduces the signs of aging.

The procedure is comparable to a vampire facial or microneedling with PRP injections, but exosomes are 100 times more powerful!

Microneedling with exosomes can address a wide range of cosmetic concerns. The combination of treatments allows for multiple problems to be addressed at once, including:

✅Fine lines and wrinkles
✅Age spots and melasma
✅Acne scarring
✅Uneven skin tone or texture
✅Enlarged pores
✅Dull skin

If you are interested in micro needling with exosomes, send us a message to schedule a consultation with one of our Board-certified dermatologists to learn more.

If you notice uneven color on your face, it might be Melasma.

Seeking consult from a Dermatologist will be more cost- effective in the long run instead of trying several over the counter products which dont help.

How do dermatologists treat melasma?
Melasma may go away on its own. This usually happens when a trigger, such as pregnancy or a medication, causes melasma.

Melasma can also last for years, or even a lifetime. While melasma cannot harm your body, it’s understandable that many people want to treat it.

If you decide to treat melasma, your dermatologist will create a treatment plan tailored to your needs. This means your plan will consider your skin tone, how deeply the melasma reaches into your skin, and any melasma triggers you may have. Sunlight, taking birth control pills, and even stress can trigger melasma.

The goals of treatment are to:

Decrease how much pigment your body makes.

Even out your skin tone, restoring it to your natural color.

When you follow your treatment plan, it usually takes between 3 to 12 months to see results. It may take longer if you’ve had melasma for a long time.

What are flat warts or verruca plana in medical term?

Flat warts are very common skin condition, characterized by brownish or flesh-colored raised bumps on your skin. They are caused by certain types of HPV viruses.

Flat warts don’t usually require treatment. They’ll usually go away on their own, but it may take several months or even years. And they sometimes become itchy and bothersome.

If treatment is desired, one cost-effective treatment is Electrocautery. Laser is not needed and is more expensive.

ECT or electrocautery involves burning of each wart with an electric needle where current is transmitted.

If you have flat warts and want to have clear and non-itchy skin, message us today to book for your treatment, done by our Board-certified Dermatologist.

Want to achieve a more feminine, more contoured and slimmer V-shaped face?

Masseter Botox, a non-surgical treatment, utilizes botulinum toxin injections into the masseter muscles to relax them, potentially creating a slimmer, more defined jawline. This procedure can also help reduce symptoms of bruxism (teeth grinding) and jaw pain, making it beneficial for both aesthetic and functional reasons.

Results will begin to show as early as one month, and will last up to 6 months.

Looking for an effective and more permanent solution to oily skin and enlarged pores?
How about reducing your fine lines and making your skin feel tighter and smoother?

Mesobotox is a cosmetic procedure that uses a diluted form of botulinum toxin to target areas of concern such as enlarged pores, fine lines, and oily skin. It works by reducing the size and appearance of pores, improving skin texture, and decreasing oil production. Unlike traditional Botox, which targets deep facial muscles, Mesobotox is injected into the inter-dermal layer of the skin, preserving natural facial expressions while achieving a smoother, more refined appearance.
