World/Philippine Antimicrobial Awareness Celebration

In line with this year’s theme, “Act Now: Protect Our Present, Secure Our Future,” the APMC Infection Prevention and Control Committee held an OPD lecture today led by Dr. Anna Farina Macabando, IM Resident (IDS Rotator), focusing on the misuse and abuse of antimicrobials and their impact on health.

Our OPD watchers and patients actively participated in the discussion and were given the chance to ask questions, which Dr. Macabando addressed thoroughly.

As part of the activity, small giveaways such as alcohol bottles were distributed to our active participants.

Let us continue raising awareness and promoting the responsible use of antimicrobials to protect our communities today and in the future.
