In celebration of National Women’s Month, we are proud to share that the Coast Guard Medical Service (CGMED), through the Office of Education and Training, MED-12, in partnership with CGMED GAD-FPS, successfully hosted a Breastfeeding and Lactation Awareness Lecture on March 13, 2025. The event was held both in-person at the Theater, Bachrach Building, and virtually via Zoom, ensuring accessibility for all female PCG personnel.

We had 20 participants attend in person, while 80 more joined online from various PCG districts, all coming together to gain valuable knowledge on breastfeeding and lactation. It was an inspiring and informative session for everyone involved!
