It all began when Nigel, still in high school, launched a basic online supplement store through a free website. His goal? Just to supply supplements to his gym mates and a few online customers. By October 2010, the name "Whey King" was officially created -a name that would soon stand for quality, authenticity, and passion for fitness.
By 2012, I joined Nigel to help manage the growing number of orders. Together, we hired our first employee and expanded our services to include watch and supplement meet up deliveries. We were literally doing MRT/LRT station-to-station drops (meet up points) grinding hard and learning fast.
In 2015, fresh out of college, we finally opened our first physical store (July 7, 2015 to be exact). Nigel focused on supplements, while I brought in my -watches. It was an unconventional mix, but it worked. Customers came for the gains, and stayed for the style.
Fast forward to today-15 years since Nigel started (13 years since I joined), and 10 years since opening our first branch, Whey King has grown to 22 branches nationwide, with more on the way. We've built a loyal community, and now we're expanding into wholesale, supplying gyms, resellers, and specialty shops across the country.
