Manila HealthTek Inc. was thrilled to host students and faculty members from the University of Eastern Philippines -Official FB - Integrated Research Laboratory (UEP-IRL), Catarman, Northern Samar, for a one-day training at The MTek Hub! The session focused on the Biotek-M™ Schistosoma japonicum LAMP Detection Kit, a powerful tool that uses Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification (LAMP) technology for the rapid detection of Schistosoma japonicum. Participants gained valuable insights through a brief lecture on molecular biology followed by hands-on laboratory training.

Since 2015, Biotek-M™ Dengue Aqua Kit has stood as the flagship product of Manila HealthTek, leading the way in using LAMP technology for rapid and accurate dengue diagnosis. Building on this success, the Biotek-M™ Trio Kit was introduced in 2021, targeting three major Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) with the greatest impact on public health: Leptospira spp., Salmonella spp., and Schistosoma japonicum.

This initiative, spearheaded by our Research and Development Division, reflects our commitment to fostering scientific learning and innovation.
