The company expands its operations to penetrate new markets, sustain its growth and to expand its services to training and consultancy services. To this date, ECARU AMBULANCE SERVICE continues to provide superior and innovative approaches to its Pre - Hospital Care, Consulting, Training, Events Management, and Educational Tour Management. It is composed of staff and trained Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), Emergency Rescue Technicians (ERTs) ,Doctors, Medical Practitioners , TESDA Accredited Assessors/Trainers, Volunteers, who provide first aid activities which encompass training and interventions. As members of the communities, which they serve and represent, they have a central and essential role in the provision of Disaster Resilience . The company ( formerly Roadway Tours) started by organizing local educational tours, events planning and Skilled Training, sourcing Ambulance Medic and Tour guides, Tour Medics, to satisfy the most discriminating taste amongst clients. Prevention and common sense are key components of first aid education . Primary Purpose
a. To offer Technical Vocational Education Training(TVET) related to disaster risk reduction management, rescue, and emergency medical services and other related health care program

a. To buy and sell selected training tools, equipment and supplies for rescue and emergency medical services.

a. To provide Emergency and Non-emergency patient transport to and from healthcare facilities, clinics and private residences. Part of our services, we also offer First aider at any point of the country. We do not only provide you with First aider and transportation , but to keep you safe and secured, but style and convenience while you travel. · Training and consultancy services. The ECARU Ambulance Service is responsible for providing first aid education, emergency and non-emergency ambulance services to the PAR and its surrounding. ECARU provides Skilled Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT’s) and conduct day to day management and provides rescue and retrieval services.

The Team ensures there are arrangements to systematically review the emergency environment, as well as the means to evaluate risks and assessment This includes the continuous study of the risk environment to identify conditions or trends that may warrant a change in the strategic direction. The Emergency Management, provides a significant coordination role in major events. The Team will provide an operational staff, to collaboratively consider emergency management issues. The Team ensures a consistent and coordinated to NDRRM for new and proposed urban developments, utilizing planning guidelines and standards for such of development plans. The Team consists of :

Hazard Assessment Plans
Hazard Assessment are prepared to ensure the delivery of comprehensive emergency management arrangements relevant to a particular hazard. Examples of hazards , disaster preparedness, Flood, Extreme Heat, Emergency Care,Prer- Hospital Care or Hazardous Materials.
Analysis
The Risk Analysis section will provide the following functions for the emergency services.
· Improve capabilities for technical and specialist services across the ECARU.
· Undertake knowledge transfer to Service to provide redundancy and capability for emergency risk anal.

If you are an event organizer looking at undertaking an event
The preparation required for an event is dependant upon the number of spectators and the nature of the event. Events that have a high risk of death or injury occurring or attract numbers greater than 5,000 will require input from emergency services. Emergency services can provide advice on your Risk Management Plan and contribute to the development of your Emergency response Plan. It may be that your event will require the presence of an Ambulance Emergency Medical personnel
For example:
· ECARU can provide guidelines to assist with decision making regarding professional on-site Emergency Medical Technicians coverage/attendance. ECARU attendance may be compulsory depending on the type or size of your event. The event venue may stipulate the level of ambulance services required. The ECARU may be able to provide support for various aspects of your community event providing at least 6 weeks notice is given. The ECARU is committed to educating the community on how to prepare for storms and floods as well as what to do in case of a storm or flood related emergency. As such, support available includes community education presentations. ECARU Volunteers may also be able to assist with event operational requirements including provision of trained traffic marshals and the use of flood boats and lighting when required. Emergency Planning Arrangements
The ECARU EMERGENCY PLAN describes the responsibilities, authorities and the mechanisms to prevent, or if they occur, manage emergencies and their consequences within the Philippines Territory in accordance with the requirements of RA 10121. The objectives of ECARU EMERGENCY PLAN are to:
· outline the principles for emergency management ;
· identify roles and responsibilities related to identified hazards and associated emergencies;
· identify, in relation to each different form of hazard, the lead response agency primarily responsible for controlling the response to the emergency;
· provide for the coordination of the activities of other agencies in the AOR and elsewhere in support of a lead response agency in the event of an emergency
· identify the key roles and responsibilities that may be activated during an emergency
