When I was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma or Bile Duct Cancer, the doctors said I only had six months to one year to live. I surrendered my life and everything to God. Now, I look back on this and smile because it was life that I decided to fight for. I’ve never pictured my life the way it is now. Everything was different.

To my co-warriors, be strong, be brave, just trust the process, have faith in God, and never surrender.

I’m proud to say “I’m A CANCER SURVIVOR!” 💚

It must have been so hard, but you fought on. What a survivor! 💪🏼

Choose your friends wisely!

We live in a world where your joy can irritate certain individuals, and your hardships can bring them joy. There are those who smile at you, offer you anything, send messages of concern, messages of appreciation, call you by moniker but denounce you when you are not around. Together, they make up stories and relay these false narratives to others. In this world of selfish intentions, everything is done out of self-promotion.

So, be cautious about who you call-friends.

As I age, I do not care whether I will have people who I can call friends. I care more of my happiness and peace of mind. A small circle of real friends is better than a large circle of fake friends.
