PAGSUSURI AT PAGPAPALAKAS NG NUTRISYON PROGRAM
Program Implementation Review • December 2–3, 2025
Widus Hotel, Clark, Pampanga

Matagumpay na naisagawa ang Program Implementation Review (PIR) para sa Nutrition Program noong Disyembre 2–3, 2025 sa Widus Hotel, Clark, Pampanga. Dinaluhan ito ng mga miyembro ng Municipal Nutrition Committee, mga Punong Barangay, Kagawad on Health, Barangay Treasurers, pati na rin ng mga Rural Health Physicians, Rural Health Midwives, Barangay Nutrition Scholars, at iba pang support staff mula sa Mariveles Municipal Health Office.

Nagpaabot ng buong suporta sa gawain ang Punong Lingkod Bayan Atty. Ace Jello C. Concepcion, Ikalawang Punong Lingkod Bayan Dr. Jesse I. Concepcion, at SB on Health and Sanitation – Chairman Hon. Jester Ivan Ricafrente.

Sentro ng talakayan ang presentasyon ng accomplishments ng bawat barangay at ang malinaw na pagtalakay sa mga hamon na kanilang kinahaharap sa pagpapatupad ng mga programang pang-nutrisyon. Layunin ng aktibidad na higit pang paigtingin ang koordinasyon, pagpaplano, at interbensyon upang mapabuti ang kalusugang pang-nutrisyon ng buong bayan.

Naging organisado at maayos ang buong proseso sa pangunguna ng ating mga Municipal Nutritionists, sa patnubay ni Dr. Joanne Panangui, Medical Coordinator on Nutrition Program. Ang aktibong pakikilahok at sama-samang pagsisikap ng bawat dumalo ang nagpatunay sa tagumpay ng nasabing PIR.

Sa Nutrisyon Mangunguna”

Upper Mariveles Centralized Kitchen Grounbreaking Ceremonies

Coinciding with the celebration of Nutrition Month, the groundbreaking ceremonies for the “Kusina Ni Kuya” (Upper Mariveles Centralized Kitchen) will materialize tomorrow, August 3, 2024, 2 pm at the Mariveles Health Complex Grounds, MAAP Road, Brgy. Alasasin (beside RHU 5).

The Mariveles Municipal Nutrition Committee (MNC), headed by Mayor Ace Jello Concepcion, conceptualized the Centralized Kitchen in 2023, as part of the grand ambitious plan of eradicating malnutrition in Mariveles by 2030. Through a well planned, multisectoral and targeted program, the MNC was able to entice a major partner to collaborate with us in putting up the “Kusina Ni Kuya”. GNPower Mariveles Energy Center Ltd. Co. (GMEC) and GNPower Dinginin Ltd. Co. (GNPD) [Aboitiz Power] will now be sponsoring the construction of the Upper Mariveles Centralized Kitchen.

Set to revolutionize the overall Nutrition Program efforts of Mariveles, we wish to extend our utmost gratitude to everybody who has been instrumental in this major partnership between GMEC, GNPD and the LGU of Mariveles, Bataan.

An FB Reels Open Interpretation Contest Of The Classic Bahay Kubo

MECHANICS:

I. Concept:
• The main idea is to give a fresh twist to the classic “Bahay Kubo”
• Participants are to submit a One Minute Video of however they want to interpret the classic “Bahay Kubo”
• Videos chosen in an initial screening shall be uploaded via FB Reels in the official FB Page – “Municipal Nutrition Committee – Mariveles, Bataan”
• Part of the judging will highly consider the number of views, likes, and shares of the FB Reel

II. Participants:
• This contest will be open to all registered members of the Katipunan ng Kabataan (KK) of Mariveles, Bataan
• Verification of the participant’s registration to the KK shall be conducted and will be part of the initial screening process
• A participant may submit an entry by himself or herself (solo entry) or may do so as a group, with no limit to the number of members, so long as all members are registered under the KK of Mariveles, Bataan
• A participant can only submit one entry (Whether solo or in a group). Submitting more than one entry will result to disqualification of both entries
• Verification of each participant shall be conducted and will be part of the initial screening process

III. Contest Proper:
• The Contest will be launched on July 16, 2024 after the “Guhit ng Kabataan Upang Malnutrisyon ay Labanan” (A Poster Making Contest To Increase Nutrition Awareness Amongst The Youth)
• An official posting of the mechanics shall be done on Official FB Page – “Municipal Nutrition Committee – Mariveles, Bataan”
• Participants shall be screened as per the criteria stated on the “Participants’ Section”. Those who fail to meet the requirements shall be automatically disqualified
• Again, a participant can only submit one entry (Whether solo or in a group). Submitting more than one entry will result to disqualification of both (or more) entries
• Participants shall submit a 1 minute video by officially registering and uploading it on an official “GOOGLE FORMS link” provided below (Make sure to use a valid e-mail account and know your password)
• The video may be submitted in any Format (MP4, MOV, etc) so long as the file will not exceed 1 GB in size
• The video shall not be longer than 1 minute (60 seconds) otherwise it shall be automatically disqualified
• Videos containing violence, obscenity, or any form of discrimination will likewise automatically be disqualified
• As stated in the “Concept Section”, the video shall be an interpretation of the classic “Bahay Kubo”
• The fresh twist can be interpreted via a song, spoken poetry, acoustic rendition, a rap, a dance number, etc. The possibilities are endless. And that is where the participants’ creativity and originality will surface

• Initial screening of all entries submitted shall be conducted by identified members of the proponents
• The shortlisted videos shall be posted via FB Reels on the official FB Page – “Mariveles Nutrition Committee – Mariveles, Bataan” by August 2, 2024 (Friday)
• Part of the Judging shall consider the number of views, likes, and shares of the shortlisted videos. Again the possibilities are endless.
• Number of “Views, Likes and Shares” shall be considered until 12:00 nn of August 3, 2024, Saturday
• The participants will be held accountable to any issues that may arise with regards to the originality and the authenticity of their videos
• The outputs will automatically become official properties of the proponents
• The proponents reserve the right to use the videos for whatever purpose it may serve (with due attribution to the participant)
IV. Judging Criteria:

Mula po sa pamunuan ng Municipal Nutrition Committee ng Mariveles, Bataan, na pinangungunahan ng ating butihing punong-bayan, Mayor Ace Jello Concepcion at ating Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Gerald Sebastian, ang aming taos-pusong pasasalamat sa lahat ng nakilahok sa “WASTONG KAALAMAN SA TAMANG NUTRISYON HANGGANG SA LAYLAYAN” (A Nutritional Outreach Program For Sitio Lilimbin, Barangay Camaya) bilang bahagi ng paggunita ng Nutrition Month sa Bayan ng Mariveles.

Kaninang umaga, July 30, 2024, ay binisita po namin ang Sitio Lilimbin , Brgy. Camaya. Tayo po ay nagbahagi ng mga makabuluhang kaalaman sa mga Nanay at Tatay patungkol sa Nutrisyon sa pangunguna ng ating MNAO, Mathea Dondonayos, at Oral Health sa pangunguna ng ating Municipal Dentist, Dr Girlie Tampis. Kasama rin sa bumuo ng delegasyon ay ang ating mga Rural Health Physicians Dr. Joanne Panangui at Dr. Sherwin Pontanilla, Nutritionist Irma Yaras, at Dental Aide Clara Reyes. Kasama rin namin ang mga Health Staff ng Barangay Camaya sa pangnguna ng kanilang Midwife Marites Figuerres at BNS Kristine Argales. Bukod sa Wastong Kaalaman sa Nutrisyon sa mga magulang ay namahagi din tayo ng mga Vitamins at ilang gamit pang-iskwela sa mga Kabataan ng Sitio Lilimbin

Naging malaking parte ng programa ang mga palaro at story telling na may temang nutrisyon para sa mga kabataan ng Sitio Lilimbin na pinangunahan ng Mariveles Youth Health Ambassadors (YHA) sa pangunguna ng kanilang presidente na si Ramon Luis at ang Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) na pinangunahan naman ni Juan Miguel Perez. Naging kabahagi rin dito ang samahang ALAB. Hinandugan din nila ng mga ilang Gamit pang eskwela ang mga kabataan.

Tayo rin po ay sinuportahan ng Barangay Nutrition Committee ng Barangay Camaya sa pangungauna ni Kapitan Amado Demafiles, Kagawad on Health Gilbert Ambrocio at iba pang mga opisyales ng Barangay. Nakisaya rin at namigay ng mga kagamitang pang-iskwela ang Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Camaya sa pangunguna ni SK Chairman MJ Delavin at SK Kagawad on Health Franzene Nicole Lopez at iba pang mga opisyales ng SK ng Barangay Camaya.

At muli sa pamunuan ng JMCIM Lilimbin sa pangunguna ni Pastor Arturo Donoso, ang aming taos-pusong pasasalamat sa pagpapahiram ng inyong kapilya.
