Earlier this morning, September 20, 2025, Kabataang FPOP Masbateño joined the GAD Symposia for ALS and Night Class learners at Masbate National Comprehensive High School. One of the speakers was Ms. Gressa Mae G. Pepito from FPOP Masbate, who shared valuable insights about Teenage Pregnancy, HIV and other health issues of the youth.

FPOP Masbad Support Haven proudly participated in the Sexual and Reproductive Health Medical Mission (SRHMM) led by FPOP Masbate Chapter at Barangay Paguihaman, Uson, Masbate.

As part of the activity, free HIV counseling and screening services were provided by our dedicated HIV Mobilizer, Mr. Jervy Magno, together with Mr. Romulus Jude Faniega, RN – HIV Counselor & CBS Motivator, and Mr. Elmo Medina, CHRA – CBS Motivator.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Chapter Program Manager, Mrs. Anna Tina F. Antonio, for her unwavering support and commitment to our programs.

Special thanks as well to the Barangay Officials of Paguihaman and the Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) for the warm welcome and support extended to our team.

Together, let us continue promoting accessible and inclusive sexual and reproductive health services for all. 💙

𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟑,𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

𝗙𝗣𝗢𝗣 𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗕𝗔𝗗 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻 proudly took part in the "Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat para sa Lahat" held at the Masbate Capitol Grounds.

🩺 Our dedicated team—Mr. Jervy Magno (HIV Mobilizer) and Mr. Elmo Medina (CBS Motivator)—provided free HIV counseling and screening services to the community during the event.

🙏 We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Provincial DOH Office – Masbate, especially Mr. Val Esteves, for inviting us and supporting our advocacy.

💙 Special appreciation goes to Ms. Azzeneth Beltran, a committed Kabataang Masbateño volunteer, for her valuable assistance throughout the activity.

OUR NEW SETS OF CBS MOTIVATORS! 🤩💙💛

The Community-Based Screening (CBS) Training was successfully conducted at Proxy by The Oriental Hotel, Albay starting September 9, 2025. The training was actively participated in by the FPOP Chapters of the Bicol Region including Masbate, Sorsogon, CamSur, and Samar—all working together to strengthen HIV response and community health initiatives.

The FPOP Masbate Team proudly joined the training, gaining valuable knowledge and skills to further support our local communities and successfully completed the training.

Our Kabataang FPOP Masbateño Chairperson, Gressa Mae G. Pepito, CHRA was awarded as top 4 performing student among all participants. 👏

We extend our deepest thanks to the FPOP National Office, our generous sponsors, and most especially to our dedicated trainers from HASH Organization for their expertise and guidance.

This is not just the end of a training, but the start of a more empowered and unified effort for healthier communities as trained CBS Motivator. 🫶🏻

Our FPOP MASBAD Support Haven HIV Mobilizer, 𝑴𝒓. 𝑱𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒚 𝑴𝒂𝒈𝒏𝒐, was invited as a Guest Speaker during the 𝑩𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒔 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔 held at Brgy. Espinosa, City of Masbate.

In his address, he highlighted the importance of encouraging pregnant mothers to undergo 𝑯𝑰𝑽 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 and 𝙎𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 as part of safeguarding their health and that of their children.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to 𝑯𝒐𝒏. 𝑴𝒆𝒓𝒍𝒂 𝑫. 𝑫𝒆𝒍𝒂 𝑪𝒓𝒖𝒛 , Punong Barangay, together with the two midwives, 𝑴𝒂’𝒂𝒎 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒍𝒚𝒏 and 𝑴𝒂’𝒂𝒎 𝑹𝒂𝒒𝒖𝒆𝒍, as well as their dedicated 𝑩𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒚 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒆𝒓 (BHWs) and hardworkin. 𝑩𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒚 𝑵𝒖𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒂𝒓 (BNS).

Our 𝙁𝙋𝙊𝙋 𝙈𝘼𝙎𝘽𝘼𝘿 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙃𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙣 HIV Mobilizer, Mr. 𝙅𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙮 𝙇. 𝙈𝙖𝙜𝙣𝙤, was invited as a Resource Speaker during the 𝙂𝘼𝘿 𝙎𝙮𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙪𝙢 𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝘼𝙙𝙤𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙍𝙚𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (𝘾𝘼𝙍𝙀).

𝙄𝙉 𝙋𝙃𝙊𝙏𝙊𝙎 | Mrs. Anna Tina Antonio, Chapter Program Manager, together with Mr. Jervy Magno, HIV Mobilizer of FPOP MASBAD Support Haven, successfully completed a three-day training on the One HIV, AIDS, and STI Information System (OHASIS) Version 2.0, Roll-Out Training held at Hotel Sentro, Legazpi City.

The OHASIS training was designed to strengthen the capacity of healthcare providers and program implementers in effectively monitoring, reporting, and managing HIV, AIDS, and STI data. By equipping participants with enhanced knowledge and technical skills, the program aims to improve service delivery, ensure accurate reporting, and contribute to more efficient program implementation at the local and national levels.

The participation of FPOP MASBAD Support Haven underscores its continuing commitment to providing quality HIV programs and services in the province. Through this initiative, the organization reaffirms its dedication to advancing HIV awareness, prevention, and care for the communities it serves.

The Family Planning Organization of the Philippines (FPOP) is actively participating in the One HIV, AIDS, and STI Information System (OHASIS) Version 2.0 Training being held at Hotel Sentro, Legazpi City, beginning today, August 26, 2025 (Day 1).

Representing FPOP in the training are Mrs. Anna Tina Antonio, Chapter Program Manager, and Mr. Jervy Magno, HIV Mobilizer of the FPOP Masbad Support Haven.

The OHASIS Training is designed to strengthen monitoring, reporting, and data management systems related to HIV, AIDS, and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). By building the knowledge and technical capacity of program implementers, the initiative seeks to enhance service delivery and improve coordination with partner agencies.

Through this engagement, FPOP reaffirms its commitment to promoting public health, advancing HIV awareness, and supporting evidence-based programs that contribute to improved health outcomes for communities in the Bicol Region and beyond.
