Pursuant to Section 14 of R.A. 10121 which states that DepEd, in coordination with other national agencies shall integrate disaster risk reduction and management education in the school & community, specifically the youths' participation in DRRMs' activities.

Earlier today Matag-ob NHS conducts the 3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) with the assistance of the Matag-ob BFP personnel and teachers to ensure the success of the activity.

Ang lindol ay posibleng mangyari anumang oras kaya't ngayong balik-eskwela, kaligtasan ng mga bata ay mahalaga.

Sa darating na September 8, ika-9 ng umaga, muli namin kayong inaanyayahan sa gaganaping Third Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED). Makiisa sa pagsasagawa ng “Duck, Cover, and Hold” at iba pang aktibidad bilang bahagi ng pagpapaigting ng kahandaan sa lindol. Lahat ay pinapaalalahanan na siguraduhin pa rin ang pagsunod sa itinakdang minimum
public health standards.

Our selected students attended for an OPEN HOUSE today at Matag-ob Fire Station in relation to the 1st BFP Community Relations Week with the theme: "Bumbero at pamayanan, Magkasangga, Nagdadamayan"

The activity showcased the different tools and equipment used by your BFP Personnel in responding incidents such as fire, medical and rescue operations.

Likewise, this aims to strengthen the BFP’s relations to the community and to build the community’s trust to our firefighters.

Thank you Matag-ob BFP headed by SFO4 ANTHONY L NIMER, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal for the opportunity of our learners to witness such event.

NDRRMC hinihikayat ang publiko na makiisa sa First Quarter NSED sa ika-10 ng Marso

Muling nananawagan ang National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) at Office of Civil Defense (OCD) sa publiko na makilahok sa First Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill o NSED ngayong taon.

Nakatakdang isagawa ang online NSED sa Marso 10, 2022, alas nuwebe nang umaga. Magsisimula ang programa nang alas otso at live na mapapanood sa NDRRMC at Civil Defense PH pages.

Kaugnay ng First Quarter NSED, gaganapin din sa Marso 7, 2022 ang disaster preparedness webinar na nakatuon sa kahandaan ng mga kakabaihan, mga bata, kabataan, mag-aaral, at senior citizens.

Patuloy rin ang panawagan sa publiko na maging handa anumang oras at makiisa sa mga programa at aktibidad na may layuning paigtingin ang kahandaan ng bawat indibidwal at pamilya mula sa banta ng lindol at iba pang panganib.

Ito ang ika-pitong online NSED na isasagawa ng NDRRMC mula noong taong 2020 nang magsimula ang pandemya.

LOOK:👀 Rain or Shine. After almost 2 years, MATAG-OB NHS starts it's implementation of Set 1 expanded and progressive limited face-to-face classes today, March 7, 2022.

This School spearheaded by Ma'am MARIVIC R. PAJARON, Principal IV would like express it's sincerest gratitude to the teachers, parents, Barangay officials, PNP & BFP Matag-ob Station and LGU Matag-ob, Leyte for the full support on the reopening of limited face to face classes.

The school administration reiterates to observe minimum health and safety protocols at all times from home up to school premises.
