💙 THANK YOU, DOMS HEROES! 💙

In the last 24 hours, our DOMS doctors from all over the province volunteered and worked tirelessly during the magnitude 7.6 and 6.9 earthquakes that struck our province to ensure safety of all of those who were affected.

We are in awe of your courage and dedication to serve amidst fear and uncertainty. You can be and should be with your families but you chose to serve our province. You showed that the heart of a doctor beats strongest for the people.

We are proud of you — our heroes in white coats. 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️💪

The Davao Oriental Medical Society concluded the 68th PMA National Medicine Week with a memorable Fellowship Night! Despite the rainy weather, our DOMS doctors showed up with bright smiles and warm spirits! ✨

With fun games, raffle draws, and plenty of laughter, the night brought us closer as one DOMS family. It was also made extra special as we warmly welcomed our new DOMS members! It was indeed a wonderful evening of camaraderie, unity, and togetherness. 🥰

The Davao Oriental Medical Society (DOMS) brought free healthcare services to Brgy. Pintatagan for our Day 5 of our Medicine Week. 💙

👵 This mission highlighted senior citizens’ health, with a Geriatric Care Lecture by our President & Family Physician Dr. Lloyd Fyl O. Razo, focusing on how to stay healthy in old age.

🩺 Around 150 patients were given free consultations and medicines.
🩸 A blood donation drive was also successfully conducted.

🙏 Special thanks to Banaybanay MHO Dr. J Angelo Cruz , RHU-Banaybanay, Brgy. Captain Joelito Yntig, barangay officials, and health workers for their support.

✨ Mental Health Awareness ✨

DOMS reaffirms its commitment to promoting not only physical wellness but also mental health. Recognizing that mental well-being is a vital aspect of overall health, DOMS conducted a series of lectures among the Nursing students of Mati Doctors College to provide valuable insights and practical strategies for maintaining balance amidst life’s challenges. The lectures were about mental health awareness, stress management, coping mechanisms to stress, and mental health resources.

Through continuous awareness efforts, we strive to break the stigma surrounding mental health and encourage individuals to take proactive steps in caring for their mental well-being and to extend compassion to those around them.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our speakers, Dr. Guiller Ivo Canuto and Dr. Maria Ge**er, for sharing their time, expertise, and insights on mental health. We also sincerely thank Mati Doctors College for graciously allowing us to hold this lecture, and to the students for their active participation and attentiveness throughout the session. 💕

Together, let us continue to build a healthier, more compassionate, and resilient community. 💪🏼

🎁 Children’s Health: Feeding & Gift Giving Program 🎁

DOMS successfully held a Feeding and Gift-Giving Program for the children of PSWDO Reception Study & Diagnostic Center, Mati City, bringing joy and hope in their hearts. 💝 Along with a hearty meal, the children received medicine, hygiene kits, and personal items — little essentials to support their well-being. ✨

It was truly a day of smiles, laughter, and togetherness — reminding us that the simplest acts of kindness can make the biggest difference. 🌟

The Davao Oriental Medical Society successfully held a Tree Planting Activity as part of our advocacy for health, wellness, and environmental stewardship. Each tree planted is a step toward a greener future and a healthier community. ✨
