"BARANGAY ASSEMBLY @ BRGY BOBON (BOBON)"

On October 30, 2024, at about 1: 00 p2m, City Community Affairs Development (CCAD) personnel led by PLT OMAR CAMBING PALMA- CCAD, Investigation Officer, jointly participated in the General Barangay Assembly of brgy Bobon, City of Mati, wherein PLT PALMA gave an advocacy talk regarding peace and order situation, systematic filing of complaints, gangsterism, campaign on anti-illegal drugs, robbery, responsible parenthood, anti-terrorism, and encouraged us to report any valuable information that could help the PNP MATI in eradicating criminals. Said activity was spearheaded by HON. Judie D Landicho, Brgy Captain, Brgy Bobon. Held at Barangay Bobon, City of Mati. The activity ended at about 3:00 pm on the same date with a fruitful result.

Police Information and Continuing Education (PICE)
PMAJ AL ANTHONY ILANO GUMBAN- Officer-In-Charge, conducted Police Information Continuing Education (PICE) and Deployment Briefing among personnel of this Station. Topics discussed were the following to wit;
a. Reiteration of the guidance of Chief PNP PGEN. ROMMEL FRANCISCO D MARBIL.
b. Memorandum from the higher office.
c. Police Operational Procedure
d. All in charge of the E-System (CIRAS, CIDMS, E-ROUGE, E-Subpoena, and E-Warrant) must always observe the timeliness and correctness in submission and uploading of incidents..
e. Maintenance of cleanliness and orderliness of every offices and station surroundings.
f. All personnel must always observe TAMANG BIHIS during tour of duty.
g. All section heads must strictly observe timeliness in submission of reports and compliance's.
h. PLT MARTIREZ G LAZARO, RPSB Team Leader, reminded all personnel that they must avoid getting involved in any illegal activities and always be on alert against possible enemy attacks despite being insurgency-free.
i. PEMS JULUIS S GUARTE- CESPO, MATI CPS, conducted a daily accounting of personnel and reminded about the OPLAN DISIPLINA ACCOUNTING OF PNP PERSONNEL. Activity ended at about 9:30 a.m. of the same date with a successful result.

“ACCOMPLISHMENT ON BUY BUST OPERATION FOR VIOLATION OF R.A. 9165 RESULTED IN THE SUCCESSFUL ARREST OF ALIAS “JP” HIGH VALUE INDIVIDUAL (HVI) WITH CONFISCATION OF MOL 20 GRAMS OF SUSPECTED SHABU WITH DRUG PRICE OF PHP 136, 000.00 ”

Joint personnel of MATI CITY POLICE STATION (MATI CPS) led by PMAJ AL ANTHONY I GUMBAN, Officer-In-charge, (Leading unit) together with PDEA Davao Oriental personnel, jointly conducted a buy-bust operation against alias “JP” at at Purok Cara 3, Lower Madang, Brgy. Central, Mati City, Davao Oriental, on October 22, 2024, around 8:51 in the evening.

That a designated poseur buyer using One (1) piece One thousand peso bill (Buy-bust money) and able to buy One (1) pc. small elongated size heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance of suspected shabu (Buy bust item) and then immediately the operating teams successfully arrested the subject person alias "JP", 38 years old, male, live-in, labor, a resident of Lower Kapayas Purok Pagkakaisa-2, Brgy. Matiao, Mati City, Davao Oriental.

The pieces of evidence were marked and inventoried on site with the presence of insulating witnesses Barangay official of Barangay Central, and Media Representative all of Mati City as mandated by law as well as the suspect himself while the estimated weight of the recovered alleged suspected shabu is 20 grams with standard drug price of Php136,000.00.

Arrested person and seized items are now held under the custody of this station for proper disposition. Case for violation of RA 9165 is being prepared for filing in court against the arrested suspect.

The Mati City Police Station appreciated the active participation and support of the community in the Anti-Illegal Drugs and Anti-Criminality campaign towards peace and order in the City of Mati.

“Community Outreach Program on MMNR CARE-AVAN at Barangay Lanca, City of Mati

PNP personnel from the City Community Affairs Development of Mati City Police Station, under the supervision of PMAJ AL ANTHONY I. GUMBAN- OIC, jointly participated during the MMNR Care-avan at Barangay Lanca, City of Mati, wherein local government of City of Mati came to Barangay to provide free government services on October 22, 2024.

The event is called Maternal, Mental, and Nutrition Recovery (MMNR) Family Care-Avan with the theme "Saving Lives and Livelihoods". All kinds of services for the people are offered, such as health care, nutrition care, and job care.
Health services include Resbakuna, PhilHealth consultation package, city epidemic surveillance, emergency medical services (EMS), dental services, consultation for outpatients, laboratory, and pharmacy. While the PNP MATI CPS offered Free Haircut/libreng gupit, catered National Police Clearance, and distributed information campaign materials and the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Local City Registrar (LCR), Office of Senior Citizen Affairs (OSCA), City Agriculture Office (CAO), and Greencom led the employment, registration, and agricultural services.

The MMNR Family Care-Avan will continue to provide community services in various barangays here in our City in the coming weeks
Mayor Michelle Nakpil Rabat ensures that the locals of the said barangay will truly feels that the true service of the City of Mati LGU, especially in areas where public services are needed. Activity ended at about 12 noon of the same date with a successful result.
