ABOUT THE ROLE
Bogo–Medellin Medical Center is seeking a high-integrity, detail-oriented Finance Officer / Finance Manager to oversee financial operations in a regulated, mission-driven healthcare environment.
Prior hospital or healthcare experience is NOT required.
What matters most is strong accounting fundamentals, ethical judgment, and the ability to manage cash flow, controls, and financial reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Oversee daily financial operations, including:
○ Cash flow monitoring and forecasting
○ Accounts receivable and payable
○ Payroll and statutory contributions
● Prepare monthly financial statements, budget reports, and variance analysis
● Monitor aging of receivables (government, insurance, and private payors)
● Ensure strong internal controls and audit readiness at all times
● Coordinate with department heads on cost control and budgeting
● Support hospital leadership in financial planning and decision-making

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
● Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Management Accounting, or Business Administration
● CPA preferred, but not required
● At least 5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience in any of the following:
○ Manufacturing / FMCG
○ Banking, microfinance, or cooperatives
○ Retail or multi-branch operations
○ BPO or shared services finance
○ Construction or project-based accounting
○ Government or other regulated institutions
● Strong working knowledge of:
○ Financial statements and reporting
○ Budgeting and variance analysis
○ Cash flow management
○ Internal controls and audits
