In observance of the World Heart Day, celebrated annually on September 29, The LMC Department of Internal Medicine Residents - Dr. Earl Bisda, Dr. Aila Velasco-Jambalos, Dr. Leah Tabuyo, Dr. Kaezel Dilem, and Dr. Gail De Vera conducted a medical mission in Brgy. Dalumpinas Oeste, San Fernando City La Union.

A series of lectures on Hypertension, Heart Attack, and Basic Life Support, free medical consultation and free medications were provided to the community. More than 70 patients attended this activity.

On World Heart Day, let’s make heart-healthy choices together and build a world with stronger, happier hearts! 🌍💖🫶🏻🫰🏻

Cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death globally, taking an estimated 17.9 million lives each year. As a way to fight this, the World Heart Federation created World Heart Day. 🌎 This event aims to raise awareness about heart disease — its warning signs, the steps you can take to fight it, and how to help those around you who may be suffering.

In celebration of the World Heart Day, the Lorma Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine will be conducting a medical mission tomorrow, September 26, 2023 at Brgy Dalumpinas Health and Wellness station. A series of health lectures and adult medicine consultation will be provided to the community.
