One cannot stay in a room while the UV-C light sterilizer is turned on. We have to make sure no humans, pets, or even plants are in the room. UV-C light causes damage to the corneal tissues & to our skin too. This patient stayed in the room for at least 5 mins with UV-C light on sustaining corneal injury, tearing, glare, and foreign body sensation.
