In today's society, we frequently make the mistake of individualizing and pathologizing mental health issues in a way that can be quite isolating, exacerbating the problem by hiding and shaming it. Feeling isolated during difficult times exacerbates the experience.

Many of us are facing challenges that can be stressful, overwhelming, and cause strong emotions. With all of the uncertainty going on around us, it's natural to feel as if we have little control over our life and to experience a variety of unfamiliar sentiments.
