In the process, it might also lose the persons confidence and might lead to low self esteem and worst, depression. Case History:

Patient X, 18 years old came into the clinic for an artificial eye fitting with a medical history of exenteration eye removal on the left eye due to Ocular Trauma when she was 8 years old.

She came in the clinic with chief complaint of ocular discomfort with her old artificial eye(her artificial eye, from time to time pops out of place due to changes of her orbital cavity).

Featured patient of the day. With chief complaints of long-standing blurring of vision in both eyes and glare. Past medical history of hypertension with ongoing systemic medication of Neoblock 1 tab daily after meal.

The patient's unaided visual acuity is 20/30, OU. With best corrected unstable Visual Acuity of 20/25 to 20/30 respectively.

ACD is 4/4 deep and quiet in both eyes with unremarkable anterior pole.

Slitlamp biomicroscopy was done and revealed a positive lens haziness, Posterior Polar Cataract grade P5 with tessalated retina, which may be a sign of retinal thinning in both eyes.

The patient is also suspected of having diabetes and high cholesterol.

The patient was requested for the following diagnostic work ups: CBC,FBS, and Lipid Profile.

For referral to IM and to Ophthalmologist for possible cataract operation in both eyes
