The last day of our Workshop & Seminar has officially come to an end, and we couldn’t be more grateful and proud of everyone who dedicated their time, effort, and passion throughout the entire training. ❤️

Over the past sessions, you have shown not only your eagerness to learn but also your commitment to serve. From mastering the proper use of bandages, assisting patients safely, to handling emergency situations like choking—you have proven that you are ready to carry the responsibility of being a First Aider. 🩹💪

Today, you can officially call yourselves FIRST AIDERS—individuals equipped with the knowledge, skills, and heart to help those in need. This is not just a title, but a calling to always be prepared, compassionate, and responsible. 🌟

We extend our deepest gratitude to:

🌟 DAY 1: WORKSHOP & TRAINING SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED! 🌟

Day 1 of our Workshop & Training Program has come to an end, and we couldn’t be prouder of our First Aiders who actively participated and showed dedication throughout the training session. 💪

During today’s training, our members gained valuable knowledge and hands-on skills on:
🩹 The proper use of Elastic Bandages for support and injuries
🔺 The correct application of Triangular Bandages for different situations
♿ Safe and efficient techniques on how to transfer patients to a wheelchair
🫁 Essential steps on how to help someone who is choking

These lessons are not only important for our role as First Aiders but also serve as life-saving skills that can be applied anytime and anywhere. Truly, knowledge is power, and today we took a big step toward becoming more capable in serving others.

We are beyond proud of our new members who have proven themselves to be fast learners—showing eagerness, commitment, and teamwork all throughout the session. Your energy and passion inspire us all. 🌟

This day wouldn’t have been possible without the people who guided and supported us:
👩‍⚕️ A big THANK YOU to Ms. Ludivina G. Flauta, RN, our ever-dedicated School Nurse, for sharing her expertise and patiently training our new members. Your guidance helps shape us into more responsible and skilled First Aiders.

🌧️ WEATHER UPDATE

Cecilians, the heavy rains continue to pour, and with it comes the risk of flooding and other emergencies. As First Aiders, we remind everyone to always stay alert, prepared, and cautious during this rainy season. ✨

✓ Stay indoors if possible.
✓ Keep your emergency kit ready.
✓ Charge your phones and have flashlights available.
✓ If flooding occurs, move to higher ground immediately.

🚨 SAFETY REMINDER FOR SCC NIGHT AUGUST 11 🚨

The First Aiders Club of St. Cecilia’s College – Cebu, Inc. is excited to welcome you to SCC NIGHT this coming August 11, 2025, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

While we look forward to an evening filled with fun, music, and celebration, your safety and well-being remain our top priority. Large gatherings can sometimes make it challenging to quickly reach someone who needs help. That’s why we want to make sure everyone knows this important emergency tip:

📍 If you find yourself in an emergency during the event especially in a crowded area immediately turn your phone’s flashlight ON and OFF repeatedly.

This simple action will help our First Aid responders:
✅ Quickly spot your location even from a distance.
✅ Provide faster assistance.
✅ Ensure that help arrives without delay.

Whether it’s a health concern, an accident, or you see someone in distress, this method can save valuable time in emergencies.

Let’s work together to make SCC NIGHT safe, organized, and enjoyable for all. Remember a quick flash can make a big difference!

I know this may not be directly related to our club, but it’s something very important that we should all be aware of. As First Aiders, we’re trained to save lives but let’s also think bigger. Can we help save our Earth too?

Animals on land and in the sea are becoming extinct, forests are disappearing, and pollution is harming our planet more every day. 🌱🐢🐘 Let's work together to protect our only home by choosing to live more eco-friendly not just for us, but for the future.

I encourage everyone to share this message and video, so more people can see what’s really happening to our world. Let’s be a team, not just in First Aid, but in saving Mother Earth. Together, we can make a difference. 🌎💪
