Mula sa 𝗷𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗽𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘁 hanggang ngayon sa 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝘁𝗮𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘆𝗼 𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝘆𝗼, kita natin ang pagpapahirap nito sa ating mga tsuper na ang pagiging drayber ang pangunahing ikinabubuhay. Dahil sa 𝐎𝐢𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐰, kontrolado ng mga kumpanya ang pagbabago at pagtaas ng presyo ng langis sa bansa. Ito ay walang pakundangang nagdudulot ng pasakit sa mga ordinaryong Pilipino.

Hindi lamang mga tsuper ang naaapektuhan ng krisis na ito. Kasabay ng pagtaas ng petrolyo ay ang pagtaas din ng presyo ng pamasahe, pagkain, at mga pangunahing kailangan sa pang araw-araw.

Sa ganitong sitwasyon, lalong kinakailangan ang pagkakaisa at kolektibong pagkilos ng bawat isa upang ipanawagan ang makatarungan at makataong polisiya. Mahalagang suportahan natin ang mga tsuper at mga manggagawang Pilipino sa pagkamit ng makaratarungang subsidiya at nakabubuhay na sahod. Hindi dapat sila maiwan sa laban na ito, bagkus ay kilalanin sila dahil isa ang mga tsuper at drayber sa mga nagpapatakbo ng ating ekonomiya.

Bilang tugon, ang 𝐂𝐋𝐒𝐔 𝐒𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐑 ay inilulunsad ang “𝗦𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆: 𝗦𝗮 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿, 𝗞𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗼𝗺𝘆𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿”, isang inisiyatibang naglalayon na makapagbigay ng libreng pagkain at mga pangunahing pangangailangan sa araw-araw sa mga tsuper at komyuter na labis na naapektuhan ng patuloy na pagtaas ng presyo ng petrolyo. Sa pamamagitan nito, naipapakita ang diwa ng bayanihan at malasakit—isang konkretong hakbang upang kahit papaano ay maibsan ang kanilang pang-araw-araw na pasanin.

Kaugnay nito, kami ay taos-pusong tumatanggap ng anumang 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻 —maaaring pagkain, inumin, o pinansyal na tulong—upang masuportahan ang nasabing inisyatiba. Anumang halaga o tulong ay malaking ambag upang maipagpatuloy ang layuning makatulong sa ating mga tsuper at komyuter.

Maaaring 𝙢𝙖𝙜-𝙙𝙧𝙤𝙥 𝙤𝙛𝙛 ng mga donasyon sa 𝐒𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 o dalhin mismo sa araw ng commuter’s pantry sa 𝐀𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟏𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 sa 𝐂𝐋𝐒𝐔 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐚𝐭𝐞.
