Here’s another reason to lose that extra weight 🥗 Data proves that obese people infected with COVID19 have higher viral loads for longer periods of time, and it takes longer for them to recover. More significantly, they have a higher chance of developing severe disease, being admitted to the ICU, and needing mechanical ventilation🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏻‍♀️

Patients with COVID-19 and obesity have higher viral loads and take an average of 5 days longer to recover, adding to existing study data on worse outcomes for COVID-19 in those with obesity.
