Jan. 1, 2025. Raindrops and Sunshine on New Year’s Day.

At the break of dawn, I was awakened from my deep slumber by the lyrical sounds of intermittent raindrops in my windowpane. The flimsy seconds perplexed in silence as I embraced the birth of a new day.

My departed parents used to remind me that a rain on new year’s day was a good omen. I don’t believe in superstitions but I subscribe to self-fulfilling prophecies. If you think you can do it, you’ll surely get it done. In retrospect, I moved my body and soul to relentlessly inch my way along a winding road towards a universe of infinite possibilities.

Moments later, I went out of our house and the sun was already ascending above the horizon radiating its grandeur in full bloom. As I gently ran my fingers at the green leaves of the willow red palm, I felt the refreshing morning breeze caressing my silky white hair.

Nothing is impossible under the sun.
May The Force Be With You 2025!
