During the cleansing of the temple, Jesus told the Jews that the temple would be destroyed and He would rebuild it in three days. He was talking about His resurrection.
Sometimes we find ourselves in the "in-between" moments of our professional lives - having just resigned from our current job, been made redundant, or anxiously waiting for a job offer. These moments make us feel anxious, helpless, and even fearful. Black Saturday is not only a time of mourning. It is a time of hopeful anticipation of the coming Easter - the resurrection of Christ - a time of preparing ourselves to celebrate and share in the glory of Jesus rising again from the dead. Today, rejoice in hope, for in your current suffering, there is abundant joy and blessing that is coming.
