Surprise visit from the Del Rosario Family! 🥰 I'm overwhelmed with joy for them as they have been praying for this little angel for 14 years! 🥰🙏 Julie suffered from ovulation problems due to PCOS. After months of lifestyle changes and several failed attempts of ovulation induction (taking medicines to induce ovulation), we decided to be aggressive and proceed with IVF. By the grace of God and also because she is young, we luckily got pregnant with her 1st ivf cycle! 🙏

I really want to share her story to inspire patients with PCOS, especially those who are having difficulties in their fertility treatments. Yes, lifestyle change, weight loss and diet are very important parts of managing pcos and infertility... most women get pregnant with this... but for some women, like Julie, they need a little bit more help. Do not blame yourself for not ovulating because that is the disease of PCOS. Do not lose hope cause pregnancy is still a possibility --- with a little help from science and a whole lot of faith! 🥰🙏

Posting this as a reminder that no matter how much we plan things, we have to learn how to adapt to changes. For months, we have been pushing and preparing for a normal delivery, unfortunately due to a low lying placenta... the safest delivery option was through a cesarean section. A low lying placenta, a condition wherein the placenta is implanted very near the opening of the uterus (cervix), can lead to massive bleeding if a woman goes into labor. To avoid this, we planned our delivery date and thankfully had a smooth sailing delivery! Congratulations to the brave Mommy Jec! 🥰 Im sure you will be a great Mom to Aniela! 🥰🥰🥰

Being an OB Gyn can sometimes be tiring... but when you become a witness to a couple's journey to parenthood, it's always special. It is my honor to be a part of Irish and Alexander's fertility story. 🥰🙏 Irish is a testament to the importance of preconception preparation. She has type 2 diabetes and we, together with her endocrinologist Dr. Ebison really worked to get her sugars to an acceptable level before trying to get pregnant. Congratulations Irish! Thank you Lord, for you have added 1! Hence, the name Yosef! 🥰

Here's a picture that warms my heart. 🥰 I met Jeffrey and Rachel in 2020 when they were struggling with infertility. Fast forward to today - God gave us have 2 healthy babies! 🥰 Im so happy for them because what you don't see in this photo is their loong journey. Sometimes its easy for couples to get pregnant. Had the urge to hear mass today. Unfortunately, the nearest church here in AUS is Anglican - close enough to Catholic. 😅 I heard mass anyway and it led me to hear the story of Hannah. Hannah was barren... despite the practice to pray to fertility godesses, she chose to remain faithful and pray to God. Her faithfulness was rewarded as She becomes blessed with a child who is Samuel, the prophet. Her story reminds us to be still in prayer. God will answer. 🙏
