MBHS-Sucat Annex Health and Nutrition

On October 22, 2024 MBHS-Sucat Annex held a school-based immunization for Measles-Rubella (MR) and Tetanus-diphtheria (Td) vaccines with the support of Department of health and City Health Office- Muntinlupa officials. The students showed incredible bravery, facing their fear of needles with courage and understanding that it was all for their health.

A big thanks goes to the parents who trusted the program and allowed their children to get vaccinated, helping protect not only their own kids but the entire school community. Together, the school, health workers, students, and parents made the event a success, taking an important step toward a healthier future.

School-Based Deworming Lecture.
Deworming in school-aged children is essential for their health, education and over all well being.
We invited the Baranggay Nutritionist Ms. Reizel Rubio to conduct this deworming awareness for the preparation of our Deworming Activity for the whole month of October.

We are very positive to reach our goal to deworm 85-100% of our learners.

If you suspect HFMD, consult a healthcare professional for guidance and to minimize its transmission.

Information Dissemination activity aims to increase awareness and help prevent the spread of HFMD among students and staff.

•Maraming pwedeng maging component ang alikabok na ito. Sa case natin ngayon, maaring asupre at iba pang elements. May posibilidad din na mag resulta ito sa acid rain. 🌋🌧️
•Ang numero na 2.5 at 10 ay nagsasabi kung gaano kaliit ang mga alikabok na ito sa MICROMETER (um). Sa sobrang liit nito ay malaki ang nagiging epekto sa baga at pwede din mapunta sa mismong dugo. 🩸🔍
•Ang pagkalanghap ng sobrang particulate matter ay pwedeng mag trigger ng sakit sa baga, mag trigger ng ashtma o hika, mahirap na paginga, irritation ng mata, ilong, lalamunan at balat, hindi maayos na tibok ng puso at atake sa puso. Maari din itong ikamatay. 🫀👁️🫁
