Apicoectomy is a surgical procedure that involves the removal of a periapical lesion and a tooth’s root tip and surrounding tissue. It is usually performed when root canal treatment doesn’t work and your last chance to save an infected tooth ☺️

Patient is 13yrs old female. Since patient’s growth and development is not complete yet, fixed orthodontic procedure (braces)was not recommended.

We opted to use several orthodontic appliance to help guide the patient’s growth and development of her facial profile.

Patient is still under treatment, but improvement of her facial profile and occlusion is very well noted.
