Checked into Four Seasons Langkawi and it honestly feels like a pause button on real life. Nestled between the rainforest and the Andaman Sea, this place isn’t just beautiful—it’s peaceful in a way I didn’t know I needed.

Mornings here start with sunlight filtering through the trees, the sound of waves just beyond the villa, and no rush to be anywhere. The beach is quiet, the service is thoughtful without being intrusive, and there’s this perfect balance of nature and luxury that makes everything feel grounded yet indulgent.

It’s not just a vacation—it’s a reminder to slow down, to breathe deeper, and to enjoy being still for a while.

Grateful for this space, this view, and this version of rest.

Started the morning at the Elogio SkinHealth Symposium — insightful sessions and takeaways as a dermatologist.

Spent the afternoon at KL Tower (yes, did the iconic glass box shot 😎), wandered through the KL Eco Park, and ended with sunset drinks at the Helipad Bar.

Wrapped the night celebrating with colleagues at the elegant Elogio Gala. Grateful for the knowledge, views, and company! ✨

Thank you .ph!

: Ephesus and Pamukkale

📍 Ephesus took my breath away — this once-glorious Greek, then Roman city dates back to the 10th century BC and was one of the most important cities in the ancient world. Wandering down the Marble Road, I passed the Temple of Hadrian, the Terrace Houses with their stunning mosaics, and of course, the majestic Library of Celsus, one of the last remaining examples of Roman grandeur. I could practically hear echoes of the ancient crowds in the Great Theatre, built to hold 25,000 people and still beautifully intact.

Then, onto a dreamscape —📍 Pamukkale, a natural wonder made of dazzling white travertine terraces formed by calcium-rich thermal waters. Walking barefoot along the mineral pools felt like stepping into another planet. It's no wonder the name means "Cotton Castle."

Just above Pamukkale sits 📍Hierapolis, an ancient spa city founded in the 2nd century BC. Romans once flocked here to bathe in the thermal waters, believing in their healing powers. I explored the Roman baths, the beautifully preserved theatre, and wandered the massive necropolis — one of the largest ancient cemeteries in Turkey.

History, nature, and serenity all collided in the most unforgettable way.

Day 5: Cappadocia
Started the morning with a dreamy terrace breakfast overlooking the magical rooftops of 📍Göreme.
Took in even more incredible views from the Panorama viewpoint, then wandered through the otherworldly 📍 Pigeon Valley and climbed up to 📍 Uçhisar Castle.
Explored the genius underground city of📍 Kaymaklı—mind-blowing to see how people once lived there!
Hiked through the lush📍 Ihlara Canyon and ended the day at the stunning📍 Narlıgöl crater lake.
What a day of nature, history, and epic views.

# : Cappadocia

Started at 📍 Uçhisar Castle, a natural fortress once used by empires to watch the valleys below. Walked the silent paths of 📍Monk’s Valley, where early Christian monks carved lives into stone.📍
Imagination Valley turned rock into story, and 📍Zelve—once a bustling cave village until the 1950s—felt like a time capsule carved into the cliffs.

: Cappadocia

Finally made it to Cappadocia. Started the day exploring the town, where fairy chimneys rise from the earth like something out of a dream. Wandered the charming little streets, stopped by the famous 📍 Galeri Ikman carpet shop, and soaked in the beauty around every corner. In the afternoon, we booked an ATV tour and took off through some of the most surreal landscapes I’ve ever seen—📍Red Valley, Rose Valley, Sword Valley, and Love Valley—each one more stunning than the last. Caught the sunset lighting up the rocks in shades of pink and gold.
