This will be held via ZOOM on November 20, 2024, from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

Join our post graduate course to learn and perform Radiofrequency Ablation of Thyroid Nodules.
Our 2 day post graduate course entitled - Surgeon Performed Ultrasound Skills and Beyond ( SP- USB) is designed to familiarise a surgeon in the core concepts and skills to perform radiofrequency Ablation of Thyroid Nodules.
We will also be offering basic concepts in ultrasound head and neck anatomy and targeting techniques as a review and pre requisite in performing ultrasound guided thyroid ablation.

Ang tema para sa World Hearing Day 2023 ay "Pangangalaga sa tainga at pandinig para sa lahat! Gawin natin itong katotohanan. “

Mahalaga ang pangangalaga sa tainga at pandinig. Mahalaga rin ang pagbigay ng solusyon para sa mga taong bingi o mahina ang pandinig. Malaki kasi ang epekto nito sa tao lalo na sa komunikasyon, relasyon, development, edukasyon, trabaho at mental health. Maaaring gumamit ng teknolohiya rito gaya ng hearing aid at cochlear implants, gayundin ang paggamit ng sign language, mga subtitle at closed captioning. Kailangan lamang mabigyan ng panahon ng mga tao and tamang pangangalagang medikal sa ating tainga at pandinig!

February 3 is the Feast Day of St. Blaise, a Saint, Bishop and Martyr from Sebaste located in modern day Turkey. He is the patron Saint of Throat Illnesses. We ask for his intercession that may God heal and deliver all patients suffering from illnesses of the throat and every other illness.

The 4th week of January is Goiter Awareness Week! Early detection and intervention is key in managing thyroid masses. Feel your neck and check! Are there any lumps or bumps? Consult your ENT for proper information, evaluation and management. Eat healthy food including fish, dairy and iodized salt to prevent goiters.

Ang tema para sa Pandaigdigang Araw ng Boses sa taong 2022 ay "Lift your voice", na nakatutok sa paggamit ng iyong boses para irepresenta ang iyong sarili at pahusayin ang komunikasyon sa iba. Ang mga problema sa boses ay maaaring sanhi ng, mga impeksyon sa paghinga, gastroesophageal reflux, maling paggamit at labis na paggamit ng boses, mga nodule, kanser, at mga sakit na neurologic. Alagaan ang iyong boses sa pamamagitan ng pananatiling hydrated ang sarili, pag-iwas sa pagsigaw o pagbulong, pagpapahinga sa iyong boses kapag ikaw ay may sakit, at pagpapanatili ng isang malusog na pamumuhay at diyeta.
