Medications are the most widely used healthcare intervention. The most common reasons for avoidable harm globally are unsafe drug practices and medication errors. This is associated with different factors, including the complex processes of prescribing, dispensing, administering, and monitoring medications. Our goal as healthcare providers is zero patient harm.

We are excited to celebrate with you the WHO World Patient Safety Day with the theme “Medication Without Harm” as we aim for zero patient harm.

Our guest speaker is Ana Maria Y. Jimenez, PhD, RN, CPHQ, the Director for Quality, as she guides us with her lecture “Imagine Zero Harm” as recently presented to our Southeast Asian sphere of healthcare groups in the Hospital Management Asia (HMA) 2022 in Bangkok, Thailand.

Our discussants, Dr. Ethel Añonuevo, Christina Liza Sta. Maria, and Maria Shiela Santos, will also join us as they share their valued expertise in the medication process to achieve zero patient harm with our facilitator Dr. Marc Louie Del Rosario
