From volunteer to nearly 10 years with TRF, Nurse Jelai has been a source of care and compassion.

We’re grateful for her heart and dedication to every patient’s journey.

Together, we raise awareness, pray for progress, and advocate for those impacted by the challenges of a rare disease.

You are not a lost cause and you are not alone in this battle!

Care doesn't just happen in hospitals...it starts right in our own communities. In this video, we're talking about The Ruth Foundation’s Compassionate Communities initiative and how ordinary people are being empowered to support those facing life-limiting illnesses. Let's explore how we can bring palliative and hospice care closer to home. Watch to learn more!

Hope isn’t just a feeling—it’s an action. Every volunteer, every donation, every shared story brings us closer to a world where compassionate care is within reach for everyone.

⏳ 2 Days to Go.
The time for alignment, collaboration, and collective action is now.

Fragmentation should never be the norm.

Rumalie A. Corvera, MD—President of The Ruth Foundation for Palliative and Hospice Care and Co-Chair of the PCS Cancer Commission Foundation—reminds us:

“Cancer care in the Philippines will only become truly person-centered when we refuse to accept fragmentation as normal. We must never give up on filling and bridging the gaps — especially for those who are most vulnerable and marginalized — no matter how complex the system, and no matter how long the work may take. The strategic session on co-designing a National Cancer Grid will be the highlight and paradigm shift of PNCS 2026 — a turning point where we move from isolated excellence to coordinated action, ensuring that no Filipino is left to navigate cancer alone.”

No Filipino should walk the cancer journey alone.
Not because of geography.
Not because of income.
Not because the system is disconnected.

🎗️ Be part of this turning point.
Join us at the Philippine National Cancer Summit 2026 and help co-create a more coordinated, compassionate, and person-centered cancer care system for every Filipino.

The Lord’s Prayer teaches us to depend on God for “our daily bread,” but it also reminds us that bread must be shared. If we truly lived this prayer, we would see health care not as a privilege for the rich but as a shared responsibility.... We would ensure that no child dies because a rural clinic lacks medicine, and no mother goes untreated because she cannot afford a hospital bill.

When I read the passage in Luke 11:1–4, where Jesus teaches His disciples how to pray, I am always struck by how profound and simple the Lord’s Prayer is. In those few verses—“Father, hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, for we also...

Yay for the TRF team’s first town hall meeting of the year! It was an energizing and meaningful time of looking back the past year and laying the groundwork for what’s ahead.

We are excited to continue advocating for palliative care patients, and empower more partners to join our movement.
