I saw this video, and honestly, it looked way too painful. Yes, lactic acid removal can be uncomfortable, but it shouldn't make someone feel like they’re being tortured. There's a proper way to do it. In my sessions, I guide clients with breathing techniques and work gradually so their body can handle it without shock or intense pain.
Lactic acid builds up when you've been really active, especially if your muscles haven’t had enough time to recover. That’s what causes that heavy, sore, almost 'stuck' feeling in the body. But with the right approach, massage can help release it and get you feeling lighter and more relaxed again.
Massage doesn’t have to hurt to be effective. We take care of our clients—we listen to their body, respect their limits, and help them heal in a safe, supportive way.
