๐ ABOUT US ๐
Mindcare Club (MCC), registered under the name Global Tele Mental Health Counselling Services, Inc., is composed of mental health-trained physicians, psychologists, psychiatrists, and allied medical professionals who make up one of the pioneers of tele-mental healthcare in the Philippines. We aspire to provide diverse mental health services defined by qualities of conscientiousness, comprehensiveness, and care to anyone in any part of the country using digital information and communication technologies. From 2020 up to the present, MCC continues to work towards its mission to lessen sadness in the world and to create more happiness for every Filipino, whoever and wherever they are. Luz Casimiro-Querubin, one of the founders of the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health and a past president of the Philippine Psychiatric Association. Together, they laid the foundations of MCC's focus on leveraging technology to deliver accessible, effective, and inclusive tele-mental health services -- foresight which proved invaluable as very soon after its founding, the world would face the COVID-19 pandemic, underscoring the need for such services in the wake of increasing mental health needs post-pandemic and the persisting difficulties of access to the as-of-now scarce and unevenly distributed mental health professionals in the country.
