💙 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝!

In celebration of 𝓝𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓵 𝓑𝓾𝓷𝓽𝓲𝓼 𝓓𝓪𝔂 on March 10, the Naga City Health Office expresses its sincere appreciation to the Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society (POGS) – Bicol–Camarines Sur Chapter for organizing a meaningful Buntis Day activity at Robinsons Place Naga dedicated to promoting maternal health and safe motherhood.

The City Health Office was honored to support this initiative through the mobilization of pregnant mothers from various barangays, coordination with our Barangay Midwives and Maternal Program Coordinator, and the provision of Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials. HIV testing services were also provided through the Social Hygiene Clinic.

Expectant mothers participated in informative lectures on safe motherhood, prevention of maternal complications, prenatal nutrition, family planning, traditions and innovations in prenatal care, and prenatal exposure to PM2.5.

Participants also benefited from the following services:
✨ Free ultrasound examination
✨ Free consultation with medical specialists
✨ Hemoglobin testing
✨ Blood typing
✨ HIV testing
✨ Prenatal vitamins and essential medicines
✨ Health education and IEC materials
✨ Raffle prizes and tokens

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the pregnant women who joined this meaningful celebration. Your participation strengthens our shared commitment to healthy pregnancies and safe motherhood in our community.

Our sincere thanks to POGS Bicol–Camarines Sur Chapter and all partner organizations for their dedication and continued support in improving maternal health for the people of Naga City.

📢ANNOUNCEMENT

Please be advised that beginning March 2026, the Food Handlers’ Class Seminar previously conducted every Friday will be rescheduled to every THURSDAY. This adjustment is in line with the implementation of the four (4)-day work week and the directive under Memorandum Circular No. 114 issued by the Office of the President, directing all government agencies and instrumentalities to strictly adopt energy conservation protocols.

Furthermore, the seminar will be limited to one (1) schedule only, with a maximum of one hundred (100) participants per session.

Previously, the seminar followed a first come, first served policy without a fixed participant limit, provided attendees arrived before 7:00 AM. However, in order to ensure a more conducive, organized, and effective learning environment, a limit of one hundred 100 participants per seminar will now be strictly implemented.

Please note that once the 100 slots are filled, registration will be closed for that day, even if it is still before 7:00 AM.

For your guidance and strict compliance.
