This milestone is a testament and proof that in our region our healthcare and medical services are continuously improving and coping nationally and even internationally.
To the family who consented, in the midst of your sorrow, you made a decision of immeasurable generosity—the decision to consent to your loved one being a multi-organ donor. There are no words that can fully capture the depth of our thanks for this selfless act. Words feel so small in the face of your immense generosity. Your loved one’s final gift has become a source of new life and hope for others. Thanks to your kindness, someone lives are given a second chance. Your loved one’s legacy is not one of an end, but of a new beginning for multiple individuals and their families. Their memory will live on in the vitality and health they have restored to those who were once facing the end of their own lives. We understand that this was a difficult and deeply personal choice, and your courage and compassion are a true inspiration.
