The BMC Main Hospital's Out-Patient Department (OPD), Rehabilitation Medicine, Cancer Center, BUCAS (DSJRMMH), and the Out-Patient Department at the Department of Psychiatry (DSJRMMH), Brgy. Cadlan, Pili, Cam. Sur will be closed on Monday August 25, 2025.

This is pursuant to Proclamation No. 727 declaring August 25 as a Regular Day in honor of National Heroes Day.

NOTE: As a DOH-retained hospital, BMC's wards and Emergency Department will still operate 24/7.

The BMC Main Hospital's Out-Patient Department (OPD), Rehabilitation Medicine, Cancer Center, BUCAS (DSJRMMH), and the Out-Patient Department at the Department of Psychiatry (DSJRMMH), Brgy. Cadlan, Pili, Cam. Sur will be closed on Thursday, August 21, 2025.

This is pursuant to Proclamation No. 727 declaring August 21 as a Special Non-Working Day in commemoration of Ninoy Aquino Day.

NOTE: As a DOH-retained hospital, BMC's wards and Emergency Department will still operate 24/7.

IN PHOTOS | Play Smart, Stay Strong: A Lecture-Workshop on Sports Injury Prevention for Student-Athletes themed Stronger Together: BMC’s Public Awareness and Linkages for Promoting Bone and Joint Health in Schools in collaboration with the University of Nueva Caceres last July 18, 2025.

Bicol Medical Center, in collaboration with the University of Nueva Caceres, recently held a Lecture-Workshop on Sports Injury Prevention for Student-Athletes.

These lectures emphasize the importance of the long-term health and well-being of our student-athletes by equipping them with the knowledge and tools to safeguard their bodies.

This is pursuant to Office of the President Memorandum Circular No. 91 dated July 23, 2025, which declares the suspension of work in government offices and classes in selected areas, including Camarines Sur, due to continuous heavy rainfall brought about by the Southwest Monsoon.

NOTE: As a DOH-retained hospital, BMC's wards and Emergency Department will still operate 24/7.

⚕️AKTIBONG REHABILITATION THERAPY, NAPATUNAYANG EPEKTIBO SA PAGPAPABUTI NG KALAGAYAN NG STROKE SURVIVORS ⚕️

Ayon sa isang pag-aaral, 60 % ng mga stroke survivors na hindi makalakad ay naka-recover pagkatapos ng tatlong buwang aktibong rehabilitation therapy.

💡 Ang Physiatry ay ang sangay ng medisina na tumutok sa paggaling ng pisikal na kakayahan at kalidad ng buhay ng pasyente matapos ang sakit o injury, gaya ng stroke.

📌 Saklaw ng PhilHealth ang serbisyo ng mga Physiatrists—kabilang na ang initial assessment, follow-up, at discharge assessment, na may halagang ₱1,200 bawat isa.

𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤 | Another proud moment for the BMC Regional Orthopaedic Center! 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗵 𝗣𝗮𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝗠. 𝗠𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗮, one of our consultants and an orthopaedic spine surgeon, successfully presented two of his research studies at the 2025 Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association Congress in Cairns, Australia.

He shared his findings with his fellow orthopaedic surgeons and also learned from top experts in the field from across Asia Pacific.
