Celebrating Sight Saving Month in San Jose, Camarines Sur!
August 20, 2024 │The BMC Eye Care Center in partnership with the Rotary Club of Naga and Archdiocesan Shrine and Parish of St. Joseph, successfully conducted a Sight Saving Mission under the theme, "Malabong mata'y iwasan, pagkonsulta sa mata'y ipractice yan para sa #HealthyPilipinas!". This event highlighted the importance of regular eye consultations and promoting awareness in maintaining healthy vision.
At least 80 patients benefited from comprehensive eye care services featuring variety of activities including consultations and visual acuity screenings which is crucial in identifying potential eye issues early & providing appropriate interventions. A key component of the event was a lecture on eye conditions, its symptoms, prevention and their management.
Additionally, the event included advocacy for BMC Telemedicine, expanding reach and accessibility, early detection and timely intervention, continuous monitoring and follow-up, education and awareness.
The Sight Saving Month celebration served as a reminder to prioritize eye health and to seek professional care regularly, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a clear and healthy vision for years to come.
