No OUT-PATIENT CONSULTATION on July 23, 2025 (Wednesday), pursuant to MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 90 issued by the Office of the President due to inclement weather.

Out-Patient Services includes:

🌟Out-Patient Consultation
🌟Pre-Natal/OB-Gyne
🌟Animal Bite Treatment Center
🌟Newborn Hearing Screening
🌟Clubfoot Program
🌟National TB Program (NTP)
🌟Diabetes Clinic

Out-Patient Department will resume on Thursday, July 24, 2025.
However, Naga City General Hospital Wards, Emergency Room, Operating Room, Laboratory, X-Ray/Radiology, and Pharmacy will still operate 24/7.

👩🏽 🌷 MAYOR LENI VISITS NAGA CITY GENERAL HOSPITAL

We were honored to welcome City Mayor, Hon. Maria Leonor “Leni” G. Robredo, to Naga City General Hospital for a productive visit focused on enhancing healthcare delivery for all Nagueños.

Mayor Leni met with our Chief of Hospital and key officials to discuss ways to further strengthen hospital services for both internal and external clientele. Highlights of the discussion included:

✅ Exploring strategies to improve accessibility of services
✅ Streamlining PhilHealth processes for better patient experience
✅ Planning the construction of a covered pathwalk at the entrance amd exit points of the hospital grounds, and to connect the Main Building and the Outpatient Department (OPD), ensuring safer and more convenient passage for patients and staff, especially during inclement weather

We thank Mayor Leni for her continued support and for championing quality, compassionate healthcare for the community.

👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️ Strengthening Public Health Through Partnership and Service 🌿

We are honored to welcome two dedicated physicians deployed under the DOH Post Residency Deployment Program (PRDP):
Dr. Jerwin Jake M. Ong (General Surgery) and Dr. Rogelio S. Garcia, Jr. (Internal Medicine).

They will be serving with us for one full year, supporting our shared mission of delivering quality healthcare to the people of Naga.

Their deployment was marked by a courtesy visit to Mayor Leni Robredo, together with Mr. Roel Dela Rosa from the DOH CHD Human Resource Development Unit. The meeting reaffirmed our strong collaboration with the Department of Health in bringing essential medical services closer to the community.

We also extend a warm welcome to Ms. Shannen Rebeckah Dy, Public Health Unit Intern from Brigham Young University – Hawaii, whose focus will be on women’s health education and promotion. Her presence underscores the growing global commitment to advancing local health systems through cross-cultural learning and service.

Bigger and More Expansive Laboratory Services Coming Soon!

Exciting developments at Naga City General Hospital, as NCGH met with representatives from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and the City Engineer’s Office (CEO) to discuss the upcoming construction of the proposed Clinical Laboratory Annex.

This new facility will allow us to provide more comprehensive diagnostic services, including the expansion into Microbiology, Histopathology, and Molecular Laboratory sections.

This will enhance patient care, support timely and accurate diagnoses, and bring advanced testing capabilities closer to the community.

We remain committed to delivering accessible, quality healthcare for all.

Ginawa nang mas madali at mabilis ang access ng mga Pilipino sa HIV testing ngayon.

Kung ikukumpara noon, aabot sa pitong araw hanggang tatlong linggo bago malaman ang HIV status ng isang tao sa pamamagitan ng confirmatory test. Ngayon, isang araw lang ang kakailanganin para makuha ang resulta. Maaaring makuha ang HIV confirmatory test sa 168 rHIVda laboratories.

Ang confirmatory test ay kailangan para sa mga nagkaroon ng reactive result sa initial HIV test.
