09 May 2025 - The Ateneo de Naga University (ADNU) College Guidance Center- Special Programs, in partnership with the Ateneo Nursing Students' Association, conducted a Mental Health Education Session dubbed ๐๐ž๐ฒ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐’๐ฎ๐ซ๐Ÿ๐š๐œ๐ž: ๐’๐ž๐ž๐ข๐ง๐  ๐š๐ง๐ ๐”๐ง๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ง๐๐ข๐ง๐  ๐Œ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ฅ ๐‡๐ž๐š๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐€๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐  ๐”๐ฌ via Google Meet. The online gathering was attended by a live audience of 400-plus students.

This webinar was part of the Center's commitment to providing timely and responsive interventions, as well as relevant programs for mental health support. The session aimed to increase awareness, understanding, and empathy regarding mental health among students, fostering a more supportive and informed community. Specifically, it sought to help student participants:

-Recognize the prevalence and impact of mental health challenges among students.
- Identify common signs and symptoms of various mental health conditions in others, learning when a peer or friend might need extra support and how to reach out.
-Familiarize themselves with simple ways to listen to and show care for a peer or friend in distress.
- Learn about available resources and how to access them to address mental health issues.
- Discover strategies for taking care of their own mental health.
