Another delivery mission done! Scenes from our successful two-day casting and prosthesis provision this April. A mission in partnership with Rotary Clubs, Physicians for Peace Philippines, LitheOP at the Bicol Mobility Center.

Delivery of casted patients will be this coming June! Please continue supporting PFP Philippines and Rotary Walking Free Projects.

The Bicol Mobility Center is deeply grateful to our partners, volunteers, and donors for a successful 2-day wheelchair and prostheses assessment and provision that benefited 158 screened PWD recipients. Through the Rotary Global Grant on Empowering Mobility, we were able to provide prostheses, wheelchairs, and other mobility aidsโ€”while also training future prosthetic technicians to ensure sustainable, long-term service for the Bicol region.

This meaningful collaboration shows whatโ€™s possible when compassion, service, and partnership come together to restore movement, dignity, and hope. Thank you to everyone who made this mission a success! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผโœจ

Physicians for Peaceโ€“Philippines and Rotary came together through a Rotary Global Grant to Empower Mobility for Persons With Disabilities (PWDs). With the support of RC Cabuyao Circle, RC Activate Victoria, and The Rotary Foundation, over 100 PWDs will benefit from free prostheses, orthoses, wheelchairs, and assistive devicesโ€”fabricated and fitted at the Bicol Mobility Center.
In just two days, the team exceeded expectations with 21 prostheses casted (16 below-knee, and 5 above-knee amputees), alongside skills training involving UERM PSPO scholars and expert guidance from a Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist from AFPO. Donated wheelchairs from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints further strengthened this life-changing initiative.
