🌸 Celebrating Filipino Elderly Week 2025 🌸

Last October 1, the Bicol Medical Center, in partnership with the Public Health Unit, proudly opened the Filipino Elderly Week Celebration at the BMC Main Auditorium. The event was graced by our Medical Center Chief, Dr. Ronnie Gregorio B. Gigantone III, who delivered the opening remarks.

✨ To promote wellness, Tai Chi Naga guided our retirees and geriatric patients through a calming Tai Chi exercise — an ancient Chinese practice that enhances balance, flexibility, and inner peace.

💡 The celebration also featured insightful talks:

Dr. Cindy Imperial, Geriatrician, on Understanding Dementia

Ms. Niña Gañgan, Physical Therapist, on Exercise as Medicine

The day was made even more memorable with fun games, raffles, and a booth tour with the support of various pharma companies. Truly, a meaningful celebration honoring the wisdom, strength, and joy our elderly bring to the community. ❤️👵👴
