Nagpahigayon ug “Pabasa sa Nutrition” ug Culminating Activity ang Barangay North Poblacion sa Siyudad sa Naga ang maong kalihokan, nga nagtumong sa pag-edukar sa mga ginikanan sa mga malnourished ug stunted nga mga bata bahin sa kahulugan sa husto nga nutrisyon ug sa pagdasig kanila sa pag-amoma sa mga maayong batasan sa pagkaon ug estilo sa kinabuhi. Pinaagi sa mga laing-laing aktibidad sama sa lecture, question and answer ug pag prepare ug laing2x mga sustansyadong pagkaon .

Ang kalihokan gipangunahan ni Ms. Zyra Mae Alforque, ang Barangay Nurse, Ms. Teresa Navales (Barangay Nutrition Scholar) , ug mga BHW. Ang maong kalihokan nahimo nga posible tungod sa suporta ni Barangay Kapitan Hon. Dindo Manabat , Committee on Health Hon. Leo Fermin , Barangay Counselor Hon. Marinel Ravilas ug sa tanang mga opisyal sa barangay.

August 11 - Si Ma’am Grace Montecalvo padayon sa nagdumala sa usa ka kalihokan alang sa pagpahibalo bahin sa tuberculosis (TB) sa Barangay West Poblacion. Ang maong aktibidad naglakip og information drive og health education aron mapalapdan ang kahibalo sa mga residente bahin sa mga timailhan sa TB, pamaagi sa pagkatakod, ug kahinungdanon sa sayo nga pagpakonsulta.

Nagpahigayon ug Buntis Congress Activity ang Barangay Colon sa Siyudad sa Naga nga adunay tema nga “Healthy Moms, Healthy Babies: Empowering Every Steps of Motherhood.” Ang maong aktibidad gitambungan sa atong City Health Officer sa Dakbayan sa Naga, si Dr. Camille Peñalosa, kauban ang City Nutritionist nga si Ms. Jasmin Genegobis ug Public Health Nurse III nga si Ms. Jocelyn Tesaluna.

Lakip sa aktibidad ang mga mubo nga lecture bahin sa importansya sa regular check-ups, mga laboratory tests, ug mga pagkaon nga angay kan-on sa mga buntis aron masiguro nga makuha ang mga kinahanglanon nga nutrisyon. Nagpahigayon usab ug Buntis Pageant nga giapilan sa mga buntis sa Barangay Colon.

Ang event gipangulohan sa Barangay Midwife nga si Ms. Imelda Daulong uban sa pakigtambayayong sa iyang mga BNS ug BHW, ug sa suporta sa Barangay Kapitan nga si Hon. Jeffrey James Saya-ang ug mga opisyal sa barangay.

Barangay Lanas in the City of Naga held a Buntis Congress Activity aimed at addressing maternal and child health concerns. This initiative provides support, information, and resources to expectant mothers, helping them access proper prenatal care and understand their rights and responsibilities.

The event was led by Barangay Midwife Ms. Robelyn Santillan, along with her Barangay Health Workers (BHW) and Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS). It was made possible with the support of Barangay Captain Hon. Emily A. Baricuatro and all barangay officials.

Ms. May Fatima Getuaban conducted Blood Advocacy activity at Barangay North Poblacion to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and to guarantee that blood supplies are safe, sufficient, and accessible to those in need.

This activity was participated by the residents of Barangay North Poblacion.

Barangay Mayana Child Development Center celebrated Nutrition Month by organizing a feeding program and delivering short lectures to students and parents about the importance of providing nutritious food to children. The activity was led by Daycare Teacher Ms. Princess B. Jimenez, along with Barangay Midwife Ms. Hazel Sharon Paler and Barangay Nutrition Scholar Ms. Teotima B. Alferez.

Barangay Pangdan in the City of Naga organized the second phase of the Buntis Congress, themed “Healthy si Mommy, Malusog si Baby,” focusing on the First 1000 Days of Life. This initiative aims to tackle maternal and child health issues by providing support, information, and resources to expectant mothers, ensuring they receive adequate prenatal care and comprehend their rights and responsibilities. Pregnant participants were given Handog Gifts Bags.

The event was led by Barangay Midwife Ms. Judith Aliganga, along with her Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) and Barangay Health Workers (BHW). The activity was made possible with the support of Barangay Captain Hon. Alvin Alinsonorin, SK officials, and San Miguel Food Corp., which also sponsored the event.

Nagpahigayon ug awarding sa mga achievers sa NIP (National Immunization Program) ang Barangay Cogon, diin gihatagan og pasidungog ang mga ginikanan uban sa ilang mga anak nga naapil sa FIC (Fully Immunized Child), kung diin ang mga bata nakadawat sa husto nga mga bakuna sa husto nga edad ug buwan. Ang maong aktibidad gitambungan sa NIP coordinator sa Siyudad sa Naga, si Ms. Sol Marie Nijaga.

Ang kalihukan gipanguluhan ni Mr. Mark Kris Montecalvo, Barangay Nurse, ug ang maong event nahimo nga posible tungod sa suporta sa Barangay Kapitan Hon. Elmer Paran , Committee on Health Hon. John Ryan Sismar ug sa tanan Barangay Councilors.

In continuation to the campaign against Smoking , the City Health Office conducted awareness activity at Barangay Lutac .This is to inform individuals about the health risk associated with smoking providing resources and support for current smokers to help them quit, including information on cessation programs and treatments.

Family members of smokers took part in the activity.
