2026 First Activity of the Year

The iSHINE Center officially kicked off 2026 with an HIV Awareness Activity at Brgy. North Poblacion, City of Naga.

This activity aims to educate the community, promote HIV awareness, and encourage responsible and informed health choices. We also hope to inspire the youth to actively participate in activities like this, because being young is not only about sports and recreation, but also about learning, awareness, leadership, and caring for one another’s health.

Our heartfelt thanks to our dedicated Naga R.E.D. Warriors Advocate Raffy Cabaluna Bariquit , Mjay Dayanan , and Siegfred Tecson , for their unwavering support and partnership in making this activity possible.

Together, let us empower the youth, spread awareness, and continue to shine hope in our communities.

DepEd City of Naga Division Office Joins the World AIDS Day Celebration! (December 9, 2025)

The DepEd City of Naga Division Office actively joined the World AIDS Day Celebration, strengthening its commitment to HIV awareness, education, and creating a stigma-free school community.

A heartfelt thank you to School Superintendent Dr. Ronald Gutay for the support and invitation. Daghan kaayong salamat, Sir, sa imong pag-suporta ug pag-abli sa partnership para mas mapalapad ang HIV awareness sa mga estudyante ug educators.

During the activity, participants availed of the FREE HIV Testing, Syphilis, Hep B, and Hep C testing.

Libre pud ang condoms and lubricants aron mas mapalig-on ang safe practices ug knowledge sa community.

Together, we build informed, healthy, and compassionate schools and communities.

WORLD AIDS DAY – DAY 7! (December 9, 2025)

On Day 7, the iShine Center went the extra mile—traveling 27 km to Cabuan National High School, Cogon, City of Naga to continue spreading life-saving HIV information and awareness.

Students actively participated in discussions on HIV facts, prevention, stigma, and the importance of knowing one’s status. Bringing this advocacy to far communities reminds us that distance is never a hindrance when the mission is meaningful.

Our journey is fueled by dedication, compassion, and the commitment to create a healthier and more informed generation.

WORLD AIDS DAY – DAY 6! (December 7,2025)

Day 6 of our celebration was held at Brgy. Cogon, led by the proactive SK Council as part of their Linggo ng Kabataan celebration!

The activity covered HIV Awareness and Testing, giving the youth and community members the opportunity to learn, get tested, and understand the importance of knowing their status.

Participants also availed the freebies, promoting safe and informed practices.

Thank you so much to the SK Council of Brgy. Cogon for the strong support, coordination, and commitment to HIV advocacy. Your leadership truly makes a difference!

WORLD AIDS DAY – DAY 5! (December 6,2025)

Our Day 5 celebration was held at Brgy. Inoburan, where we conducted HIV Awareness and Anti-Stigma sessions for the youth and community members.

A big THANK YOU to the SK Council of Brgy. Inoburan for the strong support and partnership in promoting HIV education and empowerment.

The activity featured engaging games and interactive exercises, including:

“How Stigma Feels” – helping participants understand the emotional impact experienced by Person living with HIV.

Scratch Game – reinforcing key learnings about HIV facts and misconceptions

Together, we continue building a community that is informed, compassionate, and stigma-free. ❤️💪

WORLD AIDS DAY – DAY 4! (December 5,2025)

Day 4 of our celebration was held at the City Hall Lobby, City of Naga, where our dedicated city employees participated in the HIV Testing and Awareness activity.

Employees got tested and also availed of the free condoms and lubricants, promoting safe practices and supporting our ongoing effort to end HIV stigma.

Thank you to everyone who took the step to know their status and support our advocacy!

Today’s activity helped strengthen knowledge, reduce stigma, and make HIV services more accessible to everyone.

We continued our advocacy with a meaningful HIV Awareness and Testing Activity at CTU Naga Extension Campus, specifically with our 3rd Year BIT 3A students!

Participants joined and learned the importance of knowing their status, breaking stigma, and promoting a healthier community.

🚩❤️ WORLD AIDS DAY KICK-OFF — ONGOING HIV TESTING! ❤️🚩

Our celebration at CTU–Naga Extension Campus is officially in full swing!
We started the day with a vibrant advocacy parade, followed by two sessions of HIV awareness that empowered students with knowledge, facts, and the importance of ending stigma.

While the awareness sessions are ongoing, our team from City Health Office - City of Naga, Cebu - iShine Center is also offering FREE, FAST, and CONFIDENTIAL HIV TESTING on-site.
Students are encouraged to visit the testing area anytime — know your status, protect your health, and take charge of your future!
