Nutrition Month Celebration!🥬🥦🥕🥒🍇🍎

In support of this year's theme: "Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat, Para sa Lahat!" Food Security, Maging Priority - Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin!The theme emphasizes the importance of food and nutrition security as a fundamental right.

Our activities include:
- Nutrition Lecture (Richelle Pitargue)
- Oral Health Talk (Dr. M. Kabamalan)
- Wellness Exercise (Mary Rose Piñol)
- Feeding Program (c/o Dietary Department)
- Distribution of Oral Health Package & Souvenirs

Let's continue to promote healthy eating and strong bodies this Nutrition Month!💪🏻

Also, in celebration of National Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Week 2025 with the theme "IPC Champions: Leading the Way to Safer Healthcare," Nurse Bernadette O. Arceta, the Infection Control Nurse of Nagcarlan District Hospital, conducted a lecture on proper hand hygiene. This initiative aims to raise awareness and promote prevention-ensuring that everyone understands how to effectively prevent diseases.

In cooperation with Philippine Red Cross-Sta. Cruz Chapter, LPH-Nagcarlan District Hospital successfully conducted a Blood Donation Activity held on May 22, 2025.

Laboratory Department took charge of the said activity which anchored on Republic Act No. 7719, also known as the National Blood Services Act of 1994 that aims to promote voluntary blood donation and ensure a sufficient supply of safe blood. It also regulates blood banks and emphasizes that blood donation is a humanitarian act.

A heartfelt thank you to all the donors and everyone who contributed to this truly life-saving drive. This small act of kindness can make a huge difference in the lives of those in need.
