Today, we recognize the 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝘽𝙞𝙥𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙧 𝘿𝙖𝙮—a severely misunderstood mental health condition commonly misconstrued as daily mood swings. In truth, bipolar disorder involves distinct episodes of mania and depression that can persist over longer periods. It is celebrated alongside the birth of the renowned artist, Vincent van Gogh, who is believed to have lived with bipolar disorder.

Hinihiling po namin ang tulong ng publiko upang makilala at mahanap ang kapamilya o kaanak ng isang lalaking pasyente na kasalukuyang nasa pangangalaga ng ating Ospital.

Ayon sa ulat, nitong Marso 26 (Huwebes), bandang alas-siyete ng umaga, natagpuan ng mga residente ang matandang lalaki, nag-iisa, nakahiga at tila nanghihina sa kanyang pansamantalang tirahan sa isang masukal at malayo sa taong lugar sa Pk. Masagana, Brgy. Panacan 1, Narra, Palawan. Ipinagbigay-alam ito sa mga Barangay Tanod at dinala ang pasyente sa Brgy. Hall.

Agad itong itiniwag sa Narra Emergency Response Unit (NERU) na siya namang naghatid sa pasyente sa ating pagamutan ng umaga ring yon upang mabigyan ng paunang lunas.

• Tinatayang Edad: 50-60 taong gulang
• Pangangatawan: Payat, may balbas.

• Hirap sa paghinga

Sa malalang kaso, maaaring maapektuhan ang utak at magdulot ng:

• Matinding sakit ng ulo
• Pangingisay (seizures)
• Iba pang sintomas sa nerbiyos

💁🏻‍♂️ 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗮𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗸𝘁𝘂𝗵𝗮𝗻?

• Mga taong kumakain ng hilaw o kulang sa lutong alimango o ulang (crayfish)
• Mga komunidad sa probinsya o baybayin kung saan karaniwan ang ganitong pagkain
• Mga gumagamit ng tradisyunal na paraan ng paghahanda na hindi sapat ang pagluluto

🛑 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗴-𝗶𝘄𝗮𝘀:
Upang maprotektahan ang sarili at pamilya:

• Lutuing mabuti ang alimango at crayfish bago kainin
• Iwasan ang pagtikim ng hilaw habang naghahanda ng pagkain
• Maghugas ng kamay nang maayos pagkatapos humawak ng hilaw na seafood
• Panatilihing malinis at ligtas ang paghahanda ng pagkain

🏥 𝗞𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝘂𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮?
Magpatingin agad sa doktor kung may:

• Ubo na lampas 2 linggo
• Pag-ubo ng dugo
• Hindi maipaliwanag na pananakit ng dibdib o hirap sa paghinga
• Matinding sakit ng ulo o pangingisay

NMH successfully concluded its Basic Life Support (BLS) Training for Healthcare Providers and Lay Rescuers on March 19-20, 2026. This certification equips everyone —- from medical to support staff, with life-saving skills and AED proficiency.
