Ngayong buwan ng Pebrero, ating ipinagdiriwang ang National Cancer Awareness Month at World Cancer Day, na may temang "United by Unique". 🎀

Sa ating laban kontra kanser, magkaisa tayo sa layuning makapagbigay ng suporta at tulong sa mga taong apektado ng kanser dahil Bawat Buhay Mahalaga.

🔍 Mahalaga ang early detection. Gawing routine ang pagpapa-cancer screening.
🚭💖 Simulan ang healthy living sa pamamagitan ng TED: tamang pagkain, ehersisyo, at disiplina.
💡 Practice safe s*x upang makaiwas sa HPV at iba pang STI.
🩺 Kumonsulta sa inyong healthcare workers para sa tamang impormasyon tungkol sa kanser.

Wound washing saves lives!

If bitten by a dog 🐶, always seek immediate medical advice.

The wound must be immediately and thoroughly washed for at least 15 minutes with soap and water. Then visit a clinic, as you may need post-exposure vaccination!

Blood Donation Drive 🩸🩸🩸

Date: May 30, 2024
Time: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Venue: ISPSC Narvacan Campus Covered Court

Screening Requirements for Donors:

1. Age: Must be between 18 and 65 years old.
2. Weight: Must weigh at least 50 kg (110 lbs).
3. Health: Should be in good health and feeling well on the day of donation.
4. Diet: Have a healthy meal before donating and avoid fatty foods.
5. Hydration: Drink plenty of water before and after donating.
6. Medical History:
- No recent surgeries (within the last 6 months).
- No recent tattoos or piercings (within the last 6 months).
- No tooth extraction (within the last 6 months)
- No high-risk behaviors (e.g., IV drug use).
7. Medications: Inform the medical staff of any medications you are taking.
8. Travel: Inform if you have traveled outside the country in the last year.
